It was starting to look like I was emotionally involved in this, maybe too involved to function effectively. Richard pushed the door open and we walked through the doorway. “Den” was nowhere near the appropriate term to describe the room we entered. It was a huge room and the walls were lined with shelves which were filled with books. Lyca sat behind a large mahogany desk. I recognized it as being like one I’d once considered buying. It’s a computer desk designed to look like it isn’t a computer desk. The monitor sits behind a glass screen that forms the top of the desk, and the keyboard is hidden in what would normally be the middle drawer. I really wanted one, but I couldn’t afford it.

His office was pretty spacious and very fancy. In the middle, there is a thick desk made of teak wood, behind the desk a wall of books, designer objects, trophies, a Persian carpet on the floor, and a dormouse, an elegant bench designed by Fuzo Almari, made of oak wood and covered with the finest leather... I had never been in James's personal office. It has a beautiful window overlooking the city and a very spacious part of the glass wall through which he looks at the office. But the office can't see him.

Of course, every piece of furniture in the room looked expensive, including the paintings on the wall. On his big brown mahogany desk was his laptop with some files he was currently going through. There were also a few decorations on his table along with some other necessary office items. Behind his desk was his chair and behind his chair was a transparent sliding door which led to a balcony. It also served as a window. To her left was a shelf with papers and books neatly arranged in it and on top of it stood several awards in different shapes and sizes.

My nerves are shooting, and I fleetingly wonder if I could take at least one of them down while they all attack me at once. We reach the room and I walk inside to find a large oak desk with a large black padded chair behind it. There are several bookshelves on the opposite wall with tons of books about bartending and appetizers. The carpet looks clean and new and there is a large fern in the corner next to the desk. The office is comfortable, not at all what I would expect from a group of bikers.

Aiden was a reader because he didn't look like it, but hey, you can't judge a book by its cover. The centerpiece of the room was a big mahogany desk, which is sturdy and well-crafted. The desk was surrounded by a plush carpet and comfortable chairs, making it the perfect place to sit and work. The room also featured several artworks, adding to its elegant atmosphere. He gently knocked on Maxine's door before pushing it open. Inside her room, Maxine was sitting at a small wooden desk, cluttered with papers and books. A single, dim lamp illuminated the space, casting soft shadows on the walls. She was engrossed in her studies, her brow furrowed in concentration as she scribbled notes in a well-worn notebook. The room itself was modestly decorated, with a few personal touches here and there—a framed photo of her family on the nightstand, a handmade quilt on the bed, and a vase with a single wilted flower on the windowsill.

Creighton smiled and walked back down the stairs beside her, leading her to their desired destination. The room was clean and bright, considering there were no windows in this room, either. The walls were a soft off white. The desk was a large dark walnut, big enough to spread out a multitude of files, papers and documents and held a desktop computer. Two cream and brown colored chairs faced the desk while a comfortable cream-colored leather chair sat waiting for Creighton’s backside. The dark wood floor was covered with a deep pile brown, cream and gold rug that occupied the center of the room, with barely a four-inch edging of wooden floor to show around it. Some of my favorite authors include Shakespeare, Hemingway, and Kafka. Near the window is a plush armchair and ottoman, where I often curl up with a book and a cup of tea. The chair is made of soft leather and is the perfect spot to spend a lazy afternoon. Across from the bed is a large flat-screen television, which I rarely use. It feels out of place in this room of classic elegance, but sometimes I find myself needing a distraction from my own thoughts. There's a small writing desk near the door, where I keep my laptop and a stack of notebooks. This is where I do most of my work, as well as jot down any ideas or musings that come to mind.

I introduced myself with a friendly smile and they clapped. Irene pointed at the empty desk and I thanked her. I placed my bag on the white table and took some time to admire my new workstation. It's nothing special, really. It was just a 32-inch monitor with keyboard and mouse. There is also a small lamp on the left, two drawers on the table.

Narrator's Pov Inside the wide capacious office, the air conditioner blowing so cold with a quirky fragrance, the glass desk littered with so much files, a pen cup, a apple laptop which was sparkling neat and glittering as it was made of annaeled glass, two iPhone, two iPad and a office telephone. And just in front of the glass desk were two black twirling seats. A mini bar placed at the far end of the desk and a plasma television which was hung on the wall.
