Their Lycan Queen Nora Read Online Free Novels & Stories

Lucian’s voice cut through the stillness. “Let this summit bear witness,” he said, his tone carrying across every corner of the hall. Aurelia felt it again his hand brushing hers, not gripping, not forcing. Choosing. Standing with her. The balance of power had shifted and everyone knew it. The silence breaks. The tension snaps and before anyone can challenge it Lucian steps forward. His voice echoes through the summit, cold and absolute: “Aurelia Nightbane…” A pause. The entire world holding its breath. “…will stand as Queen Candidate of the Lycan throne.”

“I know.” Behind the “I know” lies two weeks of testing: higher bars, stronger locks, new straps. All useless within three days. They’re growing. Fast. The lycan and werewolf bloodlines combined—plus the fact that Nyra’s mother is the Moon Goddess. That doesn’t make the equation any friendlier.

I said, locking eyes with him, "you may be an Alpha, but I am a Lycan King. And when it comes to things that I want, there's nothing that can stand in my way." Chloe’s POV As I stood there, still processing the rush of feelings and events that had just happened, a small smile began to creep onto my face. It was almost strange to think that I was finally going to leave this place, this smothering hell hole that had been my jail for so long. Becoming the Luna of a Lycan King seemed like a faraway dream, but now it was becoming a reality. Lost in my thoughts, I barely noticed Aiden's gentle voice calling my name. "Chloe," he said, his tone pulling me back from my daydream.

Probably something personal that she wouldn’t tell me about anyway. I figured I would bring it to her tonight, once my duties for the day were finished. But it wasn’t the package I was thinking about as I crossed the square. It was Nora, up on her toes against the shelves, and the Lycan pressed up behind her with his arm over her head and his mouth an inch from her ear. She hadn’t exactly been fighting him off. So that was how it was. First Kane. Now a Lycan healer who came and went from the Lycan King’s own gatherings. Nora Nightshade certainly didn’t waste time. A wolfless orphan couldn’t stand very well on her own two legs, so she’d learned to use men instead.

Nora's wolf fought for control because Alex wasn't around. She bared her teeth at the Omega, releasing a low growl that made them jump back. No matter what, she was still the Alpha's mate and Luna of Zodak, so even if Alex treated her like shit, she still had power over them. At the sound of her growl, they all stepped back and stared wide-eyed at her. Nora's wolf fed into the fear oozing out from their bodies. It strengthened and soon it snapped control out of Nora's grasp.

"The Unwanted Queen rejected by the Lycan King. She is my future wife and I am ready to accept the King's Lycan anger." A lycan will no longer want to return to his ex-mate if she is touched by the werewolf. Or he will kill the werewolf as a sign that the possession is over. Zoris couldn't match the strength of a Lycan king like him yet. He's bound to lose and I won't let that happen. I don't want her to be the daughter-in-law in this house. Because she will be the queen of my life. Stupid Angelo! Why could Zoris let her go from my nightclub?!

Nena’s POV The strange woman still hadn’t woken up. After I brought her home yesterday, I tried to reach Helga. I had even gone by her place, but it had been locked. I guess it had something to do with the unbound incident. I had to invite Lydia, a nurse and a former close friend of Ezra, to take a look. Lydia had tended to the woman’s wounds and injected her with some antibiotics and painkillers since her wounds weren’t healing on its own. It wasn’t unusual for Lycan’s to be unable to heal themselves. Only manifested Lycan’s could heal on their own, Lycan’s who could transform.

Xavier said, a witch stood behind him, though her aura was very calm, it was almost not there. “Where is Zara?” I asked, and he rolled his eyes. “Where she should be, besides Ezra, her king.” His mate said, I glared, she had the aura of a royal, I’m sure she’s the daughter of the queen of the witches. “Oh shut up, she has left him, don’t you know that Norah is pregnant with Ezra’s child?” I asked and Xavier suddenly looked scared at confused. “You’re spilling trash, Zara has crowned the Queen of Lycans, I’m sure he’s lying.” The witch said.

“Shut up.” She laughed. “Girl, you look like you just survived a war and enjoyed every second of it. Did he at least let you walk straight after?” I shoved her shoulder lightly. “We have work to do.” Nora grinned wider. “Oh, we do. But first, tell me everything. And don’t skip the part where the Lycan King apparently fucks like he’s trying to win a war.” I rolled my eyes, but I couldn’t stop the small, secret smile. The Trial was tomorrow night.

“Yes? Do we have a problem with that? If we have, you can demand an explanation for the alpha king.” She looked at me with poisonous glares and said, “You are nothing like Zenith!” she said, mouthing the last word. The name which I also heard from the alpha king. “You know that name is forbidden, so why did you still mention her? Tell me everything about Zenith.” Nora paled, realizing something as if she did the most horrible sin in the history of the Lycan kingdom.
