I whispered, my voice filled with urgency. And then, without hesitation, I kissed her. It was a kiss devoid of restraint, I didn’t hold back as I’d done earlier. In that moment, I kissed her with the same fervor I would have kissed the mysterious girl behind the mask, had I known her true identity.
