A sideways smile appeared on Santiago's face. "You still love him," he hypothesized.
“No, I don’t.” She instantly denied it. “I hate him.”
“You know there’s a thin line between love and hate, don’t you?” Santiago rested his chin on his right fist, his eyes fixed on hers. But when he saw she looked uneasy having this conversation, he decided to end it. “I’m not going to pry deeper, Annaliese. Just think about it. Having studied Psychology, all kinds of human behavior and all, all I want to say is look deep into your heart. Don’t develop hatred, but let go. That’s only if you want to move on.” He leaned back against the chair.
