Jack speaks, causing my entire body to heat up involuntarily. "I love you too Jack." Jack listens to the words I say carefully, allowing them to linger as he stares into me. After a few moments of silence, I feel Jack pull me in for a kiss, having me kiss him back passionately.

I smirked. I never truly thought I’d see the day he’d be as in love as he was. Jack and Sandra had the magical kind of love every little girl dreams of – at least I did. I spent hours upon hours dreaming of the guy that would give me butterflies and sweep me so high off my feet I’d never go back down. My dreams were only fueled by Mom’s extensive library in her home office. Although she had finished three fourths of the work, the next part was more time consuming. Jack wasn’t planning to stay out for long. He delivered the milk to Aunt Beth’s house and rode straight to Aldrin’s. He wanted to deliver the orders and get back home. He knew Mira would forget to eat. Aldrin was ready with a bundle of gossip. His friendship with Jack was contradictory… he liked and disliked the man.
