Jace's POV I found out about the photos the same way everyone else eventually would, secondhand, through a teammate who thought he was doing me a favor by showing me before it spread any further, and by the time I actually saw them my stomach had already dropped somewhere below the floor. Two pictures, timestamped from the previous night, grainy enough to look plausibly candid, showing what appeared to be my car parked outside Brooke’s apartment building well past midnight, and a second one, worse, a shot through what looked like her bedroom window, dark and blurry enough that it could have been anyone, but positioned, angled, captioned in a way that left no real room for interpretation.
