It was about fifteen minutes before a light knock came on the door. “Rhian. my Love it's me.”Thellues’ voice calls out. “Can you come out?” I stand up from sitting on the toilet and make my way to the door slowly opening it. I see Xavier in the corner with the Beta blocking the pathway between me and him. I open the door and look at Thellues. “Why is he here?” I ask asThellues wraps his arm around my waist pulling me close to him. BeforeThellues could get anything from his mouth Xavier was stepping forward only to be met with a strong shove back from the Beta.

Never mind, it’s not like I have much of an appetite or want to be around people these days. I grab something quick from the kitchen on my way to my room. I end my day exactly how I start it, by writing good night to Corinna, waiting until the ‘delivered’ sign changes to ‘read’, where I breathe a sigh of relief and put the phone down, closing my eyes with the knowledge she’s still there. Two weeks later, everything changes. Xander lost an ally and pack, whereas I lost my Lead Warrior, but I gained a new ally, an Alpha, along with his brand new Luna and a pack willing to help us.

He loves them unconditionally, he thanks the Moon Goddess everyday for his mates. He would marry them anywhere, any day, anytime, as long as it ended in “I do”.

I said, watching Thorsten's eyes narrow slightly. He was waiting for me to explain, so I did. "You probably already know—I was with Jace for a while, but we broke up. After that, I was with Hayden... until a few months ago, when he... was gone." I paused, letting the weight of those words settle. "Recently, at DracoLux, I met someone named Xander.
