“What’s the difference?” He didn’t even answer that. He just lifted his chin and pointed again. “See that guy? Table three. The one sitting with those two women?” I glanced in the direction and nodded. “Yeah.” “You’d think that’s some business meeting or contract signing or whatever, right?” “Looks like it,” I said, watching them for a second. “Well, it’s not. They’re actually finalizing their schedule for a three-way tonight.” I choked, literally choked, on my own breath. “What?!”

She had wondered privately if the stink of the city alone could coerce her to follow her husband’s command to stay indoors, though she considered it highly unlikely. As she had paused to examine the books lining the shelves, the faint beginnings of her good humour had fled. Marissa POV The women's block was its own special hell. Not because the women were more violent than the men though some were but because the cruelty was more subtle. Psychological warfare instead of physical assault. Whispers and stares and alliances shifting like sand. They'd put me in a cell with three other women. One ignored me completely, reading a Bible with single minded focus. Another, a young girl who couldn't be more than nineteen, watched me with terrified eyes. The third studied me with calculating interest.

It was evident that she did not care about me, so she would not be loyal. Once I gained power, Naomi would certainly become an eyesore. It did not matter what might happen to Liam and Nancy. Thus, they planned to get rid of Emilia and me by taking advantage of the chaos. Meanwhile, we planned to beat them at their game and justifiably get rid of that eyesore. Before long, their screams gradually subsided at the door. I opened the door and saw the three of them being pinned down on the floor. They were bloody. When Nancy saw me, she yearned to get up and kill me. “You shameless woman! How dare you trick me?!”

FELICIA I wanted to get to Beta Andrew. But when I got to the banquet again, all the Betas and alphas were gathered in the corner. A bunch of rogues were standing above them. The alphas and their betas were kneeling on the ground and their hands were tied behind their backs. The rogues held silver daggers against the necks of all the women, including the Luna queen. I was the only woman left who wasn't contained in the corner by the rogues.

I thought my last plan was going to end in a much preferred way but it actually backfired and instead of me to get even if it’s just one of the triplet to hate her, to despise her, they actually all get to be with her and fall for the bitch even more. Any other werewolf would have given up and let go of the issue but I am not any other werewolf, I am far from that. Everything he said had been meant for my ears. I let out a long breath, then pushed my wheelchair into the apartment. Wilson immediately stood up and hurried over. "Liam, let me help you.” His movements were careful and attentive. Ruby hated seeing it. She glared at me with undisguised resentment. "We don’t have servants anymore in this modern era! You have perfectly good arms. Can't you push your own wheelchair?" She crossed her arms and sneered. "Honestly, I should've run over your hands too. Then you wouldn't be sitting here, pretending, just to make Wilson feel bad."

Then I stepped back and he let me go and we walked out together. The council representatives arrived at precisely dawn. There were three of them, which was one more than Soren's intelligence had suggested, and the third, a young woman with sharp eyes and a notebook already open in her hands, had the look of someone who recorded everything and forgot nothing. I filed that away immediately.
