Apa yang kalian pikirkan ketika mendengar kata sudoku? Teka-teki angka? Sebuah permainan? Atau yang lain? Ya, sudoku adalah sebuah permainan yang mengasah logika. Berisi angka-angka yang bersifat tunggal, dan tersusun secara acak di dalam kotak-kotak yang tersedia. Tapi siapa sangka, permainan sudoku menjadi mala petaka bagi orang-orang yang mendapatkan tantangan untuk memainkannya. Permainan ini dimulai ketika beberapa mahasiswa dari Universitas swasta ternama mendapatkan sebuah amplop berisi permainan sudoku secara bergiliran. Sang pengirim menuliskan kalimat tantangan sekaligus ancaman di bawah kotak permainan. Beberapa dari penerima tantangan itu sengaja mengabaikan peringatan yang terlihat konyol tersebut. Mereka berakhir hilang secara misterius, dan beberapa dari mereka ditemukan tewas dalam keadaan mengenaskan. Sudoku adalah kutukan! "Selesaikan dengan benar atau mati!" Semua adalah kunci, tak ada yang sia-sia dan bukan hanya candaan semata.

Kemampuan yang dimiliki Ken benar-benar berbeda. Ken, bisa melihat apa yang ditelan orang lain hanya dari sebuah sentuhan fisik. Sayangnya, dia harus bertemu banyak orang dengan riwayat "menelan" yang mengerikan.
