The Forsaken Luna’s Revenge

The Forsaken Luna’s Revenge

" I took off running. Quicker. Despite my legs screaming, I continued. My arms were scratched by branches. My shoes were pulled by mud. But I continued. I needed to locate the ruins. Then I noticed it. Up ahead loomed a shattered skyscraper. Moss-covered, almost engulfed by the woods. "Elmath," I said quietly. "I located it." I entered. The silence reigned. Chilly. Old magic said quietly among the stones. And there was a pedestal in the middle of the ruined floor. It had a mirror on it. Dusty. Broken. But still giving forth a dim glimmer.

Beyond Redemption

Beyond Redemption

“The veil is thinning. She’s breaching through reflections.” Aaron looked between us, unsettled. “So what, now we can’t even look at puddles without being haunted?” Sylra ignored him. “If she’s invading the physical realm, we don’t have much time before she manifests fully.” Edward’s jaw tightened. “Then we find Aelthir and stop her before she does.” We reached the outer edge of the ruins by nightfall. The place was a graveyard of stone and silence. Massive pillars jutted out of the ground like broken teeth, and the faint glow of runes pulsed across the cracked earth. In the distance, a single tower stood half-collapsed, its shadow stretching endlessly across the valley.

Chasing my Luna

Chasing my Luna

The air grew thick, stygian, suffocating. And I knew— We had long overstayed our welcome. I turned sharply. “RUN!” The others didn’t hesitate. We dashed for the doors, and the figure with the golden eyes laughed and it curled through the air like smoke. As soon as we entered the threshold, the ruins crumbled. The walls fell in, the earth cracked, and dust and darkness engulfed the chamber. And in that last moment before the ruins closed behind us —

The Alpha Billionaire's Secrets

The Alpha Billionaire's Secrets

Wild, raw, and completely out of control. I step into the foyer, my boots crunching on shattered glass. I look down and I am stood on the remains of the pretty ornate vase that once stood proudly on the entry table, now it’s a mess of shards and water, the flowers wilting and crushed underfoot. I still for a moment trying to take things in, to my left, the mirror lining the wall is spider-webbed with cracks, reflecting a distorted version of the chaos.

Ruined By Mr. Cross

Ruined By Mr. Cross

“I heard glass, I came in, he was already climbing out onto the ledge. I didn’t get a look at his face.” Selene dropped to her knees beside her mother, hands hovering like she didn’t know where it was safe to touch her. “Mom. Mom, look at me. Are you hurt?” Naomi’s hands were shaking, but she wasn’t looking at Selene. She was looking past all of us, at the broken window, at something none of the rest of us could see. “He knew where I keep it,” she whispered. “He knew exactly where to look.” “Where what is?” I asked.

Luminous: The Throne

Luminous: The Throne

The luminous air here vibrated differently—slow, viscous, like water under moonlight. “We’re close,” she said. The emissary nodded. “Very.” The fog parted, and the Ruined Mirrors appeared. The ruins were enormous. Shattered stone pillars rose like broken teeth from the ground. Silver pools reflected images that weren’t correct—mountains moved, shadows walked, and stars reversed. Crystal shards floated in the air, rotating slowly like pieces of a broken constellation. The ground itself glowed with faint runes—old, ancient, and cracked. Kade gulped. “This place feels… wrong.”

His Ruin

Then another. Slowly, I made my way toward the bathroom. I shut the door behind me. The lock clicked. Only then… did I let myself break. I pressed both hands against the sink. I stared at my reflection for a long moment. My eyes were swollen. The mascara stains had long since disappeared. The woman looking back at me didn’t look like herself.

When they touch me

When they touch me

I groan, looking over my shoulder as we were so close to passing the ruins to inspect them. “Maybe we can find something that leads us to the entrance under the ruins,” I raise my voice, desperation growing in me. “Why don’t we go look for some clues?” If they start fighting like in the pack house out here, it will be over for all of us. And we will never find the entrance. Or be able to talk about the witch about this stupid curse. As they continue to shout heartbreaking absurdities at each other's heads, I clear my throat, practically shouting. “It looks like a castle. Or one of those city walls with a watch. It’s totally possible that it leads us directly to the new entrance of the villag

THE REFLECTION GAME

THE REFLECTION GAME

Chapter 11: Through the Looking Glass Anna’s breath caught as she plunged into the mirror’s rippling surface. The sensation was disorienting—like falling through icy water, the air sucked from her lungs as a weightless pull dragged her deeper. She landed hard on something soft but solid. Gasping, she sat up and took in her surroundings. The ground beneath her hands was covered in shimmering silver grass, and towering trees with metallic bark stretched toward a kaleidoscopic sky.
