I grabbed one, felt the weight settle in my arms like judgment. “Diamonds secured!” I barked. “Now the hostages, move!” That’s when the screaming started. We kicked in the holding-cell door and froze. Twelve Feathers on their knees in a circle, chains snapped, veins black and pulsing under their skin, eyes rolled back to nothing but whites. One of them, Rabbit, little Rabbit who used to beg for extra dessert, snapped his head toward us and snarled like a dog. “Tranqs!” Reaper yelled, fumbling for the darts.

Dad grins, "Hayden, Kayden, meet your brand new computer fortress. You'll be my tech wizards." Tech wizards! That sounds awesome. We rush to our new desk, and the chairs are those cool spinning ones. I spin around in mine, and Hayden does the same. Dad chuckles and says, "Looks like you guys are ready for the mission." “You bet.” I smile and he tussles my hair. “Okay I’ll be back soon so don't cause any trouble.” He says as he walks out. “Hey Hayden, do you want to check out what Mummy is doing with this new computer?” I ask with a smile and he rushes over to my side. We made sure we hacked all Mummy’s devices in case anything went wrong so we could always protect her.

My muscles scream in protest, but I don’t stop until I’ve got him over the ledge. As soon as he’s safe, we bolt. The floor groans and splinters beneath us, some sections giving way entirely. My heart races as we sprint toward safety, barely keeping ahead of the collapsing structure. “Do you know what this means?” Raymond asks, laughing. I stare at him, baffled. How can he laugh at a time like this? “We have a mole in our construction team,” he says, still grinning. “They’re the only ones who knew there was no work today.”

Chapter 19 SELENE'S POV DID MUMMY GET A NEW JOB? I was so delighted after the surprise that morning as I wasn't really expecting a birthday present. The past couple of days had been hectic for both of us. From Mummy losing her job to us losing our home and everything I was not sure mummy would be able to afford a birthday present and to my amazement, she did and I could barely contain my joy. After the second part of the movie, the kids chose to draw their favorite TMNT characters, their creativity flowing freely. Little Ruby’s Raphael had oversized muscles, while Rhett’s Michelangelo was mid-air, throwing nunchucks with flair. I was appreciating their creativity when the front door opened, breaking our artistic flow. Ruby stepped in, pausing when she saw us.

So Papi fired him!” Erick tried hard not to laugh. “Fired him?” Ash nodded hard. “He ATE THE CABLE!” I slid the pastry tray onto the cooling rack and wiped my hands on my pants. “We’re gonna need employment contracts for these cats if this keeps up,” I muttered to the oven.

I have hidden the truth for them or so I thought until this moment. I glance at their two inquisitive faces, the eagerness to know why mummy is angry with the mystery uncle. Daniel, who was too clever, stared at my lips trying to read the meaning of the words that slipped out next. “Mum is just….” I was about to ease the intense silent and awkward moments when Jeffery fell to his knees, looking utterly remorseful. Possibly helpless to my hardened heart

"Whoa whoa man .I am not your LOVE and i don't even know WHO YOU are rather than THE MUMMY TITTLE. So please let me go and i promise I will make it a blind eye.please?" The Mummy looks at her closely and raise his arm while putting his index finger on her forehead. It was like he was processing her mind . When he came closer ,she become frozen with fear and coldness raise upon her body. She closed her eyes like waiting for her death . The mummy then let his finger down and walks towards his tomb .She opens her eyes and gets surprised that she was still alive. ' I am alive.' She murmured in happiness. She touched her body to reassure , she was still alive.
