My footsteps slowed. Something about this place felt familiar. Bobby stopped before a heavy wooden door. He pushed it open. "This is where you'll stay." I looked inside. The room was small. Barely large enough for the narrow bed pressed against one wall. A wooden table. One chair. A tiny cabinet. One small window sat high above the bed, letting in only a thin strip of moonlight. Cold air drifted through cracks in the stone. My fingers slowly tightened around the little cloth bag I still carried.
