Chapter 2 I follow him, my legs trembling so violently I have to concentrate to keep my stride even. The corridors are dimly lit, lined with portraits of severe-looking men and women who seem to glare down at me in judgment. The silence is heavy, broken only by the sound of Evren’s boots and my own soft, pathetic shuffling. "Here," Evren says, stopping at a small, plain door tucked under the stairs. He opens it to reveal a cramped room containing a narrow bed, a small wardrobe, and a tiny window looking out onto the stone wall of the estate.

No complaints. No reason to speak. He walked ahead, and I followed quietly behind him. We didn’t talk. We didn’t need to. Everything that needed to be said… had already been decided. He stopped in front of a door and opened it. “This is your room.” I stepped in. And stopped. The room was small. Not just small… tight. The kind of place that didn’t feel like it belonged to anyone. Nothing was arranged. Nothing was clean. It didn’t even feel lived in.

A small round window at the far end showing nothing but dark glass and fog. Cain pointed to the last door on the left. “Room four.” I stopped outside it and shoved the key into the lock. My hand slipped the first time. Then again. Cain said nothing. That made it worse. “Don’t,” I snapped. “I didn’t.” “You were about to.” “No.” I finally got the door open and pushed inside. The room was small but clean. A narrow bed. A wooden chair. A chipped dresser. A lamp with a crooked shade. One window with thin curtains. The air smelled faintly of soap, old wood, and rain.

BOOK 3: Chapter 10: The First Night The air in the bathroom is thick with steam, curling along the edges of the mirror, blurring the lights overhead into hazy halos. The hiss of the shower fades into the background, overtaken by the rustle of breath, the soft slap of skin against tile, the broken cadence of a woman giving in. Her back arches against the sink’s cold edge, muscles trembling, thighs slick and parted, and she’s not holding back anymore.

A cold, damp thing that settled in her chest, making it hard to breathe. She slid her duffel bag to the floor. She sat on the edge of the small, lumpy bed. The room was tiny, slanted, and freezing. It had a single bed tucked under the eaves, a tiny, buzzing refrigerator, a two-burner hotplate, and a small, wooden table. The one window, a round porthole, looked out over a universe of gray, Parisian rooftops. It was perfect. It was the one place in the entire, screaming, hunting world that Liam Cross would never, ever think to look.

It would be a miracle if we do not rip each other’s heads off within the first day of staying here. “Get in, Mason,” Braden orders. “We must dump this dude far, far away from here.” Axel, Elara and I shuffle inside, already crowding the living room with our babies. I move into the bedroom and discover it is even tinier than it looks from the outside, with barely enough room for a bed. Great. “Damn, it’s small,” Elara walks up behind me and looks over my shoulder. “Yeah,” I chuckle nervously. “You should take it.”

We don’t need to go out for it, and we would be careful not to make too much noise. My eyes moved around the room for the first time, and I noticed how bare the room was. Despite that, it was still so tiny, and I tried hard not to choke back the sob. Back at my pack, things were much more better, and I was truly happy. I didn’t need to worry about hitting my leg on the bed post because everything was bigger than all I had ever imagined. "Fuck!" I cussed as I cried. 'There is no need to do any of that. Have you seen my room? It’s too tiny. Let’s just forget about every thing for now. It’s no use.'

Chapter: 26. ****** A relief sigh escaped all five mouths when the rumbling stopped and the stones parted to reveal what looked like an old study room. A few of the bookcases have been overturned, and their contents are strewn across the dirty room. A smoking corpse lies in a black circle filling the room with its horrid stench. Mikey carried his lover and walked over into the strange open room that looked like a dungeon with different torture devices neatly lined out on both sides of the walls.

Chapter 5: Lilian POV. As I opened my eyes again, I found myself chained to a bed in a small room. I tried to scream, but a cloth was stuffed in my mouth. I looked around, taking in my surroundings with horror. The walls were bare and white, and there was only a small window high up on the right side of the room. The only furniture was the bed I was chained to and a chair in the corner. Tears fell from my eyes as I realized I had no idea where I was or who had taken me.

“Room 14. It’s on the second floor.” I followed him up a narrow staircase, the wood groaning under our weight. The hallway at the top was dimly lit, with faded wallpaper peeling at the edges. Kieran unlocked the door to my room and pushed it open, stepping aside so I could enter. The room was small but functional—a bed with a plain blanket, a rickety chair by the window, and a small dresser. The walls were bare, and the single lamp on the nightstand flickered slightly when I turned it on.
