Tainted Ties

Tainted Ties

A wall too thick to break down. When I look up, my eyes scan the apartment, the stained dishes piled on the small coffee table along with stained-rimmed cups and empty glass bottles. Pieces of clothes lay abandoned across the floor, some strewn over the couch. And the faint scent of a room uncleaned flows past my nostrils. "It's okay," she lets out, pulling away from me. She goes to pick up a cushion, then tosses it onto the couch before sitting down with her head in her palms.

But even so, you couldn't just wander off on your own. Mariam sat in front of the open window after the wreckage she had caused in her room, staring out into nothingness. She had flung out all her dresses from the wardrobe onto the floor and scattered the bed, ripping off the bed sheet and tearing open the pillows. The tiny feathers littered the top of the bed and every where around it. She didn't cry, she was not sure that she had any tears left to cry and she had taken out her frustration on the pillows. The evening sun glowed a dull orange, blending into the blue sky and causing a layer of pink to stretch across. She watched the birds fly off into the evening, most of them in pairs and sh

Leading My Family to Glory

Leading My Family to Glory

Though Tyr was mentally strong, it was still difficult for him to accept such a fact. “Boss, look! What is that?” At that moment, Xyris pointed to the ground out of the blue and called out to Tyr. Then, she squatted down and picked up a tiny crumpled paper on the floor. “Boss, there is a spitball hidden inside that Holy Ice Silkworm, and it was only revealed after it melted?” Tyr was baffled too. He took that spitball over immediately and unrolled it. As a matter of fact, it was not exactly a spitball but a crumpled scroll of sheep parchment. Though it was merely a centimeter in size, since it was made of super-thin material, it became the size of a child’s palm after it was spread open.

5 stars+++One of the best books on here! I wished he could write another book as part 2 ! I laugh and I cried and I sat on the edge of my chair !! No other authors on this sight could come close to his writing . I hope he went to a different company for his other books for a contract ..

Love all the characters especially ML and FL. True love bonding. Tyr never sets his eyes on other women tho surrounded by them n possesses s/natural powers. Unlike some amazingSIL stories abandoned the wife for hundreds of chaps, he always keeps in touch wt his wife. Lots to learn from this story.

Scattered Pieces of The Past

Scattered Pieces of The Past

On our eighth anniversary, my boyfriend, Liam Daniels, dragged me along to plan his marriage proposal. That exact morning, my pregnancy test came back positive. Outwardly, I teased him for ruining the surprise. Privately, I called everyone I knew to brag. My parents wept over the phone, saying time flew by too fast. My best friend, Mia Kyle, promised to beat him up if he ever stepped out of line. Even my older sister, Sarah Davis, choked up, swearing she would be there no matter how busy work got. On the big night, I wore the white dress Liam bought me. When I stepped into the venue, I realized the proposal had been transformed into a full wedding reception. I watched Liam Daniels

Alpha, Let's End This Bond!

Alpha, Let's End This Bond!

she chirped, shoving the flowers into my arms before I could even say thanks. The yellow petals were so bright they felt like they were glowing against the dingy grey of the hallway. I buried my face in them for a second. They didn't smell like sandalwood or expensive leather. They smelled like the sun. "I figured you’d be starving and miserable," Tasha said, kicking the door shut and setting the food on the floor. "So I got the spicy basil noodles and enough spring rolls to choke a Pack Beta." "Tasha, you didn't have to," I said, my voice wavering.

The Alpha's Secret Witch

Looked at the tears still drying on my cheeks. I didn't wipe them away. I wasn't ashamed. I wasn't ashamed of my love for Cressida. Tasha stepped forward. Her silver braids were tangled and her nail file was nowhere in sight. "You," Tasha said, pointing at Cressida. "Don't you ever pull a stunt like that again." Cressida opened her mouth. "I'm not finished." Tasha's voice was sharp but yet her eyes were wet. "You can pull stunts when I'm not around. You can collapse in someone else's presence. You can give them heart attacks. But not me. Do you understand?"

A Tale Between S and W: Not your usual giddy love story

A Tale Between S and W: Not your usual giddy love story

"Don't you know how to do things gently? Am I not your best friend? I almost thought you want my arm to be detached from my body! Do you want to drink some additional blood gushing from me for an extra treat?" "Ewww! Stop that! Zip your mouth shut! You are so gross! Do I look like a freaking vampire?" Hiraya cut some tissue from the tissue dispenser on the table to wipe her tears. Some are still continuously falling. The snacks are not finished like it is not almost touched at all. Wow, this is a first. Never did Lisha leave food and drinks unfinished when we are eating out. Something serious must have happened. What happened?

The Bratva Biker Girl

The Bratva Biker Girl

Sure, and if it isn't, won't my hand be redding that pretty ass of yours. I returned to the security office and stared angrily at the screens, my men knowing better than to comment on what they had just seen. After a few minutes, Tavisha crept out of the bathroom, and it was pretty clear she had been crying; her beautiful jade eyes were swollen red, but she sat back down at the table. The security room was silent as we watched her slowly and methodically eat everything, fruit, bread, bacon, eggs and even the yoghurt and honey. Then she downed the glass of orange juice and another glass of water, her beautiful face devoid of all emotion. I frowned as I noticed she was panting slightly, her fi

Twilight in Your Eyes

Twilight in Your Eyes

“I’m heading to the office for a meeting. Be good and wait at home. I’ll bring back some desserts for you.” With that, he turned and left. His tall figure seemed to carry a hint of urgency as he walked away. Tara let out a bitter smile and started sorting through her belongings. First, she gathered all the couple-themed items—matching mugs, toothbrush holders, keychains, scarves, T-shirts, plush toys—anything that symbolized their relationship. One by one, she tossed them into the trash. Though scattered throughout the villa, there was more than she had realized. Cleaning it all left her drenched in sweat.

The Alpha's Forgotten Bride

The Alpha's Forgotten Bride

“Walking in together. Disappeared for hours. You know what that means. She’s a slut, playing her way into his bed, pretending she’s special.” Mia groaned, rolling her eyes as she stirred her tea. “Oh, Tasha, you love making storms out of the shadows. Stop exaggerating. Daphne, don’t listen to her, she probably saw nothing and twisted it into a fairytale.” But Tasha smirked. “Fairytales don’t leave receipts. I never delete my photos, remember?” Her phone glinted in the light as she slid it across the table. My fingers hovered above it, hesitant. I didn’t need to open the gallery, the mere weight of her words pressed hard enough against my chest.
