Broken Pieces

Broken Pieces

I couldn't stop thinking about how Jack called me a slut and how Aubrey just completely left me for dead out there. It’s not like any of this was really even my fault. After what felt like hours of more crying, I finally managed to fall asleep. ~3 hours later~ The sound of something banging against my window catches me by surprise, having me immediately jolt awake as fear begins to engulf me. What the fuck was that? I grow still against my sheets as the sound repeats itself, this time sounding more like a sequence of patterns. Is somebody here? Slowly, I make my way over to my window before slowly pushing open my blinds.

A Heart Broken by Time

A Heart Broken by Time

Freddie didn't believe it until I died right in front of him. At that moment, he nearly lost his mind. He ignored the system's warnings and used up his accumulated points to trade for a chance to rewind time. But no matter how hard he tried, I always ended up dead. After countless attempts, the desire to keep me alive became an obsession. His points dwindled, and the time he could rewind became shorter and shorter. The last time he opened his eyes, it was the day before I confessed my feelings to him. It was late at night, and I was already sound asleep.

Fractured

Theo says. “We do have a way, she has been communicating with us this whole time, we just dont know the language,” I grin and tap my chest over my heart. “When her heart rate rises and then falls three times in a row you have one hour to get here and hold it open for us,” I say. “Time moves differently there so one hour here would be thirty minutes there,” “This seems risky, but I'm in. We have to try,” Mason nods. “In the meantime I think we should have every molecular manipulator here, working on a way to permanently open this crack,” Deacon nods.

Started reading this book two days ago, and damnnnnnn!! It’s such a breath of fresh air NOT knowing what’s going to happen next. I love how original this book is. Sadly, I’m all caught up so far, can’t wait for it to be complete, definitely a book I’d reread many times! <3

I started reading last night and I love it so far! really original, love the spicy scenes and Josie is a lot of fun. I'm used to reading stories where the pov shifts, but I'm enjoying only reading things from one pov. it keeps you guessing a bit more. great read! highly recommend it

mind trying to figure out how to get back to them. She lowered her head and started looking at the table rather than the man which caught their attention, and they all began to stare at her as she quickly was putting piece by piece into a more significant puzzle that she didn’t even know was there. It was starting to make sense now. Her whole life was beginning to make sense now; she had been working for this moment since she was nearly ten years old. The theory that she had come up with then was that she wanted to travel back in time, but she didn’t know how she didn’t understand that there was no magical machine that can take you back into the past. So the part of the theory that she had

Secrets of Time

Secrets of Time

He looked at my eyes seriously and that also made me more serious to listen to him attentively. "The Clepsydra. An hourglass but not the usual one. It contains water instead of sands. That's what they used to manipulate time," he said while looking at me directly at my eyes. Clepsydra? I haven't heard that word yet. I don't even have an idea of whatever it is if Cayden didn't tell me what it is. It's just new to me and just by how mysterious its name is, I know that it'll give us a hard time having it or whatever he's planning to do with it. But wait... Did he just tell me things about time?

Pieces of Me

Pieces of Me

"I'm about to go to prison. Please let me stay with you a little longer. Even if it's only one day. I'd like to see you a little longer–" As she spoke, she reached toward my face. But before touching me, she pulled away. Her tears fell one by one onto the floor. "You don't want me to touch you. I'm sorry. It's all my fault." Josie's crying made me feel exhausted. In the days that followed, I remained bedridden. My consciousness became increasingly unclear. I didn't know how much time had passed. When I briefly regained awareness, I saw Josie standing next to my hospital bed. She had dragged my mother along.

The Tale Not Old As Time

The Tale Not Old As Time

However, she reminded herself that most businessmen, whatever the rank, had always demanding schedules, and as a college student conducting interviews, she was likely not a high priority for many professionals. Florence looked up at the clock, her heart sinking as she realized it was past four o’clock in the afternoon. Feeling defeated with what happened, she pulled off her earphones, placed it along with her mini iPod shuffle in her bag, and gathered her belongings from her lap, her eyes welling up with tears. She had wasted her time here, and the frustration and disappointment were overwhelming inside her.

A Family in Pieces

A Family in Pieces

Her lips trembled as she muttered, "No, that's not possible. I remember she looked fine… That day, she was still so radiant…" Indeed, my injuries didn't look serious from the front. There were just a few light scrapes I got from protecting Linda. At that moment, I had held her close, using my body to protect her from the rogue's hammer. That so-called "radiance" Mom remembered was nothing more than a last burst of adrenaline. It was my final flash before death. She was the healing center's chief healer. If she'd cared enough to look at me properly, she would have noticed it. However, she never spared me a proper glance from beginning to end.

Timeless Love

Timeless Love

I am just twenty five years old and in the middle of my youthful life. On that fateful night, I have just finished my overtime work. I was briskly walking out of the office to catch the last bus home when a car hit me out of nowhere. I did not even have time to feel the pain. My body flew like a rag doll and hit the ground hard, then I was unconscious. By the time I opened my eyes, I was already lying on a hospital bed, fighting for my life with all the life supporting machines that were attached to my body. I cannot move my body at all, I was paralyzed.

자주 묻는 질문

Fragments of the Past' is this gorgeous, melancholic visual novel that feels like wandering through a dream where every detail holds weight. It follows a protagonist who returns to their hometown after years away, only to uncover fragmented memories and unresolved relationships tied to the place. The game's strength lies in its atmospheric storytelling—there’s no rush to 'solve' anything, just a slow unraveling of emotions through interactions with old friends and remnants of the past. The art style is painterly, almost impressionistic, which amplifies the sense of nostalgia and loss. What stuck with me was how it mirrors real-life nostalgia—the way certain smells or objects can trigger half-forgotten moments. It’s less about grand revelations and more about sitting with the quiet ache of what’s been left behind.

One thing I adore is how it plays with perspective. You’re not just recalling events; you’re piecing together how others remember them too, which sometimes clashes painfully with your own version. The soundtrack, mostly piano and ambient sounds, feels like it’s echoing from another room—just barely out of reach. If you’ve ever revisited a childhood home and felt time warp around you, this game captures that eeriness perfectly. It’s not for players craving action, but if you’ve ever sighed over old photos or wondered about roads not taken, it’ll linger in your mind long after the credits roll.
