The Titan Freak growled, its massive claws reaching toward Bima’s backpack, where the Indomie Super Nutripower was kept. "NO! DON’T TOUCH MY INDOMIE!" Bima roared, trying to stand, but his leg wouldn’t hold him. Lia lunged forward, swinging her meat cleaver at the Titan Freak. CLANG! The cleaver hit the Titan Freak’s arm, sparking and making a loud metallic ring. No effect. The Titan Freak’s skin was too thick. The monster just let out a low growl, then shoved Lia away with its palm. THUD! Lia flew backward, hitting the wall before collapsing, her crowbar slipping from her hand.

They were a man and a woman. The man seemed to be close to fifty years old. He had a large head, and he was tall. Many people knew that this was Quentin’s trusted bodyguard. He was a Grandmaster, and he was called the Shredder. There was a tale that he once killed two other Grandmaster experts on his own. He wasn’t even injured from the fight. However, nobody knew who the other person was. She looked like a nun. However, she wasn’t holding a bible in her hand. Instead, she was holding a long sword, and she had a cold, merciless expression on her face. Those who didn’t know better might have thought she was Madam Kill-All!

"I'll only be upset if you let these bastards walk out of here. Get 'em boys." Permission granted, Ethan tore into the bastards along with her family while Javier handled Maurice himself with hard and quick jabs that bloodied his face. The tendrils flailed wildly, their movements growing more erratic as the fragment began to destabilize. “Almost there!” Emma shouted, her voice strained. “Just keep it distracted!” Vivienne darted forward, her dagger slicing through a tendril with deadly precision. “We’ve got this. Do what you need to do!” Jamie swung his skateboard at another tendril, his movements clumsy but effective. “Yeah, no pressure or anything!” The fragment let out a piercing screech, its form collapsing in on itself as Emma’s energy overwhelmed it. With a final burst of light, the fragment shattered, its remnants dissolving into the air.

“Shred the all!!” Tiana commanded grimly and she saw the monsters started to scatter but it was too late for them. The shock waves from Xyla was powerful and fast. The men on the ground were all incapacitated as their eyes were all fixed on the griffin which was now shredding the monsters, both ogres and wolves even those reptile-like didn’t escape the goddess of fury’s wrath. The shock waves tore them into pieces, the shock wave had form a massive tornado carrying anything unwanted and shredding it like pieces of paper. Like a mind on its own it went after the monster leaving the men standing with no harm coming to them.

I gasped, but he only smirked, his eyes gleaming with triumph. “You don’t need this,” he said, his voice husky as he let the shredded material fall to the ground. His hands roamed over my exposed skin, igniting a fire that I couldn’t put out.

“But you will be the last.” Before I could react, he nodded to his men. The taller one stepped forward, his hand outstretched as if to grab me again, but Carter was faster. He pulled me close, stepping between me and the thug, his body like a shield. His movements were swift, calculated, and with a precision that left no room for hesitation.
