The notion didn’t go unnoticed by Gunner, his eyes zeroed in on our connected hands. “Alpha Gunner, I would like to join the Tri-Moon pack” Tobias blurted out. No delaying, no dancing around the subject and no easing into it. I nearly swallowed my tongue and my eyes just about burst out of my head as I whipped around to face Tobias.

I smiled at him, grateful for the distraction, for something that felt normal—until the calm shattered with Kieran’s voice. "I've sent Isadora out of the house. Figured you might want to move back in." I choked on my coffee, coughing as I set the mug down. "That's illogical," I managed between coughs. "Everyone knows Tobias is my companion. They'll just call me a two-timing omega." Tobias smirked, a smug expression that didn't go unnoticed by Kieran, whose jaw tightened in response. Before he could retort, his phone buzzed, the shrill ringtone cutting through the tension.

Tobias hazards, wincing as he pushes back his messy auburn hair with a hand. I swivel toward him and take a few steps in his direction. “Well it looks like you hooked up with Tayla last night, dude.” “Okay, then yeah,” he admits with another wince. “It’s exactly what it looks like.” I snort a laugh, shaking my head. “Damn. I thought for sure you had better taste than that.” “She just showed up at my room last night!” Tobias exclaims, throwing his hands up. “What kinda guy could turn that down?”
