Aiden, Marcus, and Jasper look like they’ve been carved from stone, and Edwardo and Tobias are locked in a mind link conversation — stiff postures, tense jaws, fists clenched.
Then, Edwardo bares his neck to Tobias —and walks off without a word.
Tobias turns to me.
His body is vibrating, his muscles straining like he’s trying to hold himself back. But when his eyes meet mine, he visibly relaxes, exhales, and runs a hand through his hair.
“That looked like an intense session,” he says, voice low and controlled.
“Yeah. It was.”
“Come on. Let’s get you some food. You need to refuel after that.”
