Tokyo Ravens Manga Novels & Stories

Raven sounded a little confused, and still looked embarrassed. Heather put her book on the table and pushed it in front of Raven. There was a small picture on the front, just like most of Raven's Braille books. The picture looked like a little blonde girl wearing a homemade Superman -- Supergirl, I suppose -- costume. The title was Robin's Great Adventures. At the bottom of the picture I could barely make out the words "A story by", then in larger letters "Raven Tipton".

“The flames you bear, the ones that brought you here, are part of a prophecy. They are a gift and a curse, a beacon of change that will shape the future of our kind.” Charlotte’s heart pounded as the woman’s words sank in. “What does that mean? Why me?” “Because you are her,” the woman replied, her tone reverent. “You are named for the harbinger of fate, the one who bridges the divide between worlds. The flames chose you for a reason.” The child like voice appeared again. It screamed in her ears, “RAVEN”.. RAVEN… She has heard that before…but where? The name sent a shiver through Charlotte, as if it resonated with a part of her she hadn’t known existed.

I managed to ask, although the words came out so quietly that I wasn’t sure they’d heard me. The tallest man tilted his head, studying me for a moment before a small smile touched his mouth. There was something strange about the way he looked at me. It wasn’t the cold stare I’d expected from someone who had just walked into a warehouse and killed half the men inside it. His eyes seemed almost hungry, as though he’d been waiting to see me for a very long time. “The Ravens.” My stomach dropped. Ravens. I remembered the word immediately. The men who had kidnapped me had said it while they were filming me, but I hadn’t understood what they meant. I’d assumed it was the name of whoever they were

“I just... I keep hearing Raven’s mean voice playing over and over again on a loop inside my head, Riley. I can't stop thinking about all the scary things she said to me in the kitchen. She talked about how wild and dangerous these long road runs get. She told me that a soft civilian girl like me simply isn't built to survive this heavy motorcycle life.” Riley let out a long, slow sigh and walked into the room, shaking her head. “Raven is just incredibly bitter and angry, Tessa. She wanted to wear that exact property patch on her back for three long years. She desperately wanted the crown of this club. But you are the one who already has the crown, whether your mind fully realizes it right n

“Never going to happen.” Just as I’m about to turn away, Raquel grabs me by the upper arm. My shirt’s sleeve rides up an inch, exposing the bottom portion of my old tattoo. She frowns, a flicker of recognition flashing across her eyes. She doesn’t let me escape, moving so swiftly that I have no time to react. She pushes my sleeve up to expose the entire composition: a raven with red feathers and an arrow in its black beak. Her mouth falls open. “You’re a Red Raven.”
