Watching him shoot his girlfriend at point-blank range right after she gave birth to his son.” Tjeck’s voice turns cold, anger radiating from him as he faces Toph. “I was 15, and Kattie was just 14 when you committed murder right in front of us.”
Everyone’s eyes shift to Toph, the gravity of Tjeck’s accusation hanging heavily in the air. Even Zombie’s expression shifts, a look of aversion flickering across his face. Alec and Shine, positioned closest to Toph, instinctively step back, distancing themselves from his presence.
