"Aaron is the Alpha of the Black Shadow Pack—the most sought-after bachelor in the clans. Everyone knows he's been waiting all these years for Lily. Our future Luna will be her. You, no matter how pretty, don't even register in his eyes." His words sliced through me, cruel and precise. I clenched my fists so tightly my nails bit into my palms, but I had no retort—because every word he said was true. Seeing me speechless, Felix's lips curled into a lewd grin. His eyes gleamed with sick amusement.

reported JP with the most respectful voice he could muster. “What does that supposed to mean JP?” Asked Luka. “I have lost our Luna; I was in the pack house, and she went home with her father to pack. When I came looking for her, she was not there and apparently, she was with her friends, but no one has seen them. We have been looking for them but no luck so far.” Reported JP and waiting for an answer but it never came. The only thing he heard was the phone being dropped.

Four new Lunas had arrived since the day before, and Jeanette made sure I was introduced to them before getting everyone else settled in at the tables assembled in the greenhouse. “This is Luna Makayla Crestwood of the Red Oasis Pack, Luna Katherine O’Donnell of the Bloodmoon Pride, Luna Sarah Clark of the Silent Silver River Pack, and Luna Lisa Lawrence of the Raging Peaks Pack. Ladies, this is Alpha Selene D’Arcadia Volkov of the Opalescent Moon Pack.”

They showed me hell on earth for years, I endured pains and bullies for couple of years. “I think you need to go through the same path I walked, how I suffered in your hands is the same way you both will suffer in my pack. Guess you don’t know, I’m the Luna of this great Crimson pack, I’m not the Gigi y’all knew, and trust me your lives are in my hands.” I cussed bitterly. “Guess the red moon pack is no longer in existence. looser! That’s what y’all are.” I hissed, my eyes searched through the rooms.

Most were just smiling away at the antics of their Alpha carrying his Luna. Luna. I had never really considered my ranking in a Pack. I had always been focused on a medical career and I still was. I simply had other priorities that came to mind as I thought about Adam and the Pack. I cannot remember the name again, or maybe I never asked since I woke up. “What is the Pack name?” I asked. If I had asked before, Adam didn’t try to make me feel bad, he simply replied, “Red Pine Pack.”.

The Luna They Did Not Expect The pack watched her differently after the fight Raine felt it before she even saw the shift in the environment subtle but undeniable. Where before there had been curiosity, suspicion, even quiet judgment Now there was something else, attention and not the kind she wanted. She wanted it cancelled until both Marie and Nick were safe back within the territory and it took a lot of convincing for her to finally cave. Once our plan to get into the Royal Kingdom was made, we knew that we needed to meet with the surrounding Alphas as they too were joining us.
