Toradora Novels & Stories

I glare at the people who seem to have kidnapped me and try my best to steady myself as I’m still a little weak. “Where am I? And what do you mean you were right?” I ask. “You’re in our home and we were right about you being a Zorian.” My eyes go wide in shock. How do they know that? “We know that because we’re Zorians too.” The lady answers like she just read my mind. “I’m Thea, he’s Joey,” she points to the huge guy to her left, “and he’s West.” The one on her right who looked like he was forced to be here, a light scowl on his face.

''So the brave and bold dragon lord Zutara and her mighty dragon Sephiata, that sounds so much better, you and me we are gonna kick ass at this aren't we'' ''And crush balls too'' Zutara said dreamily and Sephiata snickered. ''What?!'' ''I just... you know how dragon lords have nicknames like, The Mountain, The Conqueror, The Whip, what if you are called The Ball Crusher'' she snickered again and Zutara giggled '' Just imagine the look on Riz's face when she says water sage to The Ball crusher'' "No mine's better,'' Zutara straightened her spine arching her shoulder like Riz and mimicking her voice '' I am Riz ball crushing water binder '' she drawled, girl and dragon dissolved into peals

Acre starts laughing at me, "He's tongue-tied, what he wants to say is, he thinks you are beautiful" I see my Desert share a look with her sister before shaking her head and getting back to the task of blasting sandballs towards the attackers. Lanna Is the only one who sees the rogue come through the sand, we are all quite shocked when her walking stick comes out of nowhere smacking the rogue around the head, "We need to get out of here, there's too many of them" I yell above the noise only to receive a disgusted look from my mate and her venom tongue to spit

The Eater went down hard, but I didn't wait around to see what happened next. I raised the rod and went after the next one hitting it in its stomach with a perfectly aimed blow. It rolled off Benny caught off guard since its entire attention was centered on getting his soul. Benjamin rolled up swiftly then grabbed the Eater before it could recover and threw it as hard as he could. The creature went flying and didn't even graze the low wall around the roof before going over the side.

LYRA. I tried to run, but my feet felt heavy as if rooted to the spot. The rogue's eyes gleamed with a feral intensity, their teeth bared in a snarl. I raised my hands, palms facing them, and summoned a weak burst of energy to defend myself. But he was too strong, too fast. He knocked my hands aside and pinned me against the wall, his claws digging into my shoulders. I struggled, kicking and squirming, but he was too strong. A fist slammed into my stomach, and I gasped for air. Another blow struck my head, and everything went blurry. I felt myself falling, but they caught me, holding me up with a cruel grip.

I didn’t see it at first, but Alina kneels and holds up a Katana to her and Cass smiles at her and thanks her before taking the Katana and unsheathes it. “That is her blade. My mom gave it to her as a gift. Cass loves that blade. She even sleeps with it.” Tati tells us and we all watch as Cass bows to Tadashi and walks back a few paces and gets into her stance. Her legs are apart as she lowers her stance. Both hands grip the handle as she holds the Katana up by the side of her head. Her eyes are closed and I know she is calming her mind. “The rules are simple. Tesoro you must knock Tadashi on his ass three times using your skill. The only weapon to be used is your blade. Tadashi no cheating.

Waiting. “You’re going to have to do better than that,” Cheyenne snapped between strikes, sweat slicking her brow, emerald eyes cutting toward him. “If this is your grand army, I’m not impressed.” Tora sent a flaming fist straight through another creature’s chest, its body exploding into ash as she bared her teeth at him. “What she means is—” she lit her knuckles again and cracked them, “—you’re really starting to bore us.”

She looked Zara up and down, pausing at the girl’s wrists, which still bore faint bruises from chains. “So this is the peace offering, she looks soft. We’ll see how long that lasts.” Behind her, another woman chuckled, she's taller, and crueler in the eyes. That was Tori. She's pale blonde with a jaw that could cut glass and a voice that drips venom even when she whispers. “Bet she doesn’t even know how to kneel properly,” Tori said, tilting her head in mock pity. “It doesn’t matter. She’ll learn or she’ll bleed.”

Oh man, I am just going to enjoy this so much. “Sure” I reply “I am going to be embarrassed… at how easy it was to take down an Alpha King” Peter and Luthor like that one, they give a little cheer. We take our fighting stances opposite each other in the ring. “Sure. Bring it on princess” he says attempting to taunt me “You’ll regret that” I say smiling sweetly at him. Leanna shouts out the rules. “No biting, no transforming, first person to pin the other one for 5 seconds is the winner. Oh and no one kills anyone” she adds the last part with a wink at me. I like her already.
