I KISSED MY BOSS
His hand slid up the side of my neck, fingers curling lightly at my jaw.
I leaned into him instinctively, my fingers tangling in his shirt, pulling him closer.
The taste of vanilla and salt lingered on our lips. The counter dug into my hip as he stepped closer, deepening the kiss.
When we finally pulled apart, I was dizzy, breathing hard.
“Wow,” I said, half laughing, half breathless. “These cookies are gonna be emotionally charged.”
He smiled, an unguarded kind of smile that made him look years younger. “You’re impossible.”
