I yanked off my T-shirt and shoved part of it into her mouth then tied the rest behind her head. Her dark eyes peered up at me with so much anger yet they seemed pleading at the same time. “We really haven't.” “We should remedy that,” Freddie said, nudging my arm with a grin. I raised a brow. “What, like right now?” “No time like the present.” He leaned back against the railing like this had been his spot all night. “Cassie Monroe. The girl who broadcasts like a pro and takes cherry slushie showers like a champ.” I narrowed my eyes. “You mean the slushie you schemed?” He held up both hands, mock-innocent. “Allegedly.”

Freddy began to spread the mat next to Kei's sleeping mattress, while his grandmother brought toto from the closet. Freddy took the toto in his grandmother's hand and spread the toto, when he saw his grandmother's eyes were too withered to hold back sleep. That's why he told his grandmother to rest. Kei's face was in contemplation, still unconscious. Kei needs to rest, maybe the power was too strong to cause Kei to faint.
