He sat cross-legged beside the fireplace, arms crossed, pouting at a dog that had dared to sniff his foot. And there were so many dogs. Zeus, the proud corgi patriarch, trotted around like he owned the mountain house. Tinkerbell, his Leonberger mate, was never far behind, usually tucked up next to Xenia or pacing anxiously if too many loud noises happened at once. Their litter—Calliope, Aoide, Rufio, Thalia, Erato, Melete, Tootles, and my sweet Pockets—had fully turned the lodge into a fuzzy, barking, tail-wagging blur.

She grabbed Beau's hand running over to the puppy area to look at puppies/dogs. They looked through the puppies/dogs seeing different breeds (such as Golden Retrievers, Huskies, German Shepherds, Pugs, French BullDogs, etc…). Marigold crouched down putting her finger up against the glass while a puppy tried to lick it. She looked up at Beau, standing next to her, and said, "Awe look how sweet he is." Beau crouched down looking at the puppy and said, "He is adorable. Do you like him?" She chuckled, saying, "I love all of them and wish I could keep every single one." Beau said, "Yeah about that… We…" She glanced behind her looking at the kittens, seeing a white kitten with one jade green eye a

prompting laughter amongst the group. He scrunched his nose, chuckling. Ace affectionately scratched the dog's ear, exuding warmth towards the loyal pet by his side. Taking Su's hand in his own, Ace gently guided her to place their hands on the dog's forehead, offering a tender caress that elicited a smitten giggle from the young girl. "Can we bring it with us?" she pleaded, her eyes sparkling as she admired the Doberman, fully grown and exuding a dangerous aura.

She pouted just a little when he stomped it on the deck, then threw it over the balcony. “I, I was just, I,” she stumbled over her words, completely stunned at the gorgeous man glowering over her. “Well,” he tapped his foot impatiently, as if he were dealing with a child. “It helps my nerves,” she finally stuttered. “And what is that?” Drago gestured to her dog, who was still snoring away, unfettered by the handsome doctor’s presence. “Oh, that’s Thor, my mastiff,” “Mastiffs are good guard dogs,from the time of the Romans,” Drago said thoughtfully.
