Kamila's POV I got up the next morning to see two furry bodies beside me. Then I remembered that I had just adopted two dogs yesterday. Captain and Duke sat up staring at me." Morning boys". I watched as he kneeled before my dog and introduced himself. Pudge sat on his haunches and wagged his tail at the odd man talking to him. I exhaled harshly and went to grab a couple mugs. I headed out to my backyard to feed my koi. My ducklings of course followed. Cassian looked around excitedly and grinned slightly.

Lord Raoul did not look convinced, but Fluff lifted his tail and confidently walked over to Jamie. None of the dogs tried to approach him. Amaethon gave a low growl and all the dogs moved to the furthest corner of the pen. Lord Raoul quickly walked over and picked Jamie up bridal style.

In the next instant, the huge dog pounced—but instead of biting, it pinned her gently and began licking her face enthusiastically. Aria: “???” What was happening?! Light filtered through the trees, revealing the creature clearly—massive, fluffy, brilliant white—a Tibetan mastiff for sure, with striking blue eyes that had made it look monstrous. But its tail wagged wildly.
