"Great!" she declared, turning to her three new friends: A god of the elves, a god of technology and a teenage healer. 'What a team!' she thought. If the first game was still active, they could certainly join the war and win.

Eighteen warriors stood before me. My angelic guardians Gabriel, on his right stood Seph, his lieutenant. Behind them stood Malak, Ronin, Selene, Sariel, and Parisa. To the right stood my fallen guardians. Adrian standing proud. On his right stood his lieutenant Celestria. Behind them stood Ramiel, Louis, and Morgan. And finally to the left stood my human guardians. They’re not mere humans anymore, with gifts of their own and access to my powers they were demi-gods. Dean stood before his team, my acting general. Behind Dean stood, Nefertari, Briseis, Ramses, and Khutulun.

At the far end of the chamber loomed a massive door carved from gold, flanked by towering black-and-gold statues. "Guys… Ka statues," Caleb murmured, awe in his voice. "So?" Ivana frowned. "They guard the tomb of a god—or a king." His excitement barely broke through his nerves. "Let's open it," Emily said, eyes gleaming.

It was a roar that carried the weight of a thousand years of ancestral rage. “Girard?” I whispered, though I knew he couldn’t hear me. The thing standing in the center of the tower was no longer my husband. It was the Apex. A mountain of black fur and serrated bone, standing nearly eight feet tall. Its eyes were not amber or gold; they were voids of pure, electrical white. The air around him smelled of ozone and ancient earth. The heavy oak door finally gave way with a splintering crash. My father’s men rushed in, their silver-tipped rifles raised, their faces masked in tactical gear. They had come prepared for a wolf. They were not prepared for a god of carnage.

His hair was messy, sticking up in places and he clutched the monkey against his chest like a shield.

’ Ram stood upping from the driving seat and walked towards the gate of craft. Lakshman released the vacuüm, and the gate opened with the single press on its red-coloured round-shaped switch. Lakshman also followed Ram and came out from the craft for observing the conversation. A very decent personality came out from the dark smoke generated through the fuel combustion. Person existed with a calm nature, wide black eyes, muscular torso, shining forehead, and hands folded in the position of bowing down. ‘Gentleman, who are you?’ The person asked Ram very politely.

The people were cowering in whatever safe haven they could find, whether it be the claustrophobic aisles of a department store or the dark back room of an office. Anywhere was better than the bubbling mire outside. The heat from the burning blood would not affect the deity who once walked in his own volcanic Eden. Nor did it affect the creatures he crafted but it certainly made their way more taxing. Isaac watched as a soft haze encapsulated the God's body and slowly, he began to fade, glowing translucent and glorious.
