He was the one that cleared the mess once Ragnor was done with them. Jack is a hybrid vampire. His Father who leaves in the City of Immortal was once human and turned into a vampire but his mother was a human girl who died after having him. When he turned 16 years he discovered he was different. His father moved him from the city to the palace and he lived there till he was an adult, when he noticed the changes.

He kept enduring all the insults given to him but one day, the bullies entered our class, sat down on his table and spat on him. The boy became angry. I noticed his veins began to change to black, including his eyes. The rest were laughing because they didn't understand what it was. I understood what he was doing.
