It felt like the truth. As we reached the doors, the Narrator-bot appeared in front of us. He was twenty feet tall now, made of all the police cars and metal from the street. "You can't go back to the start!" the bot roared. "The first chapter is locked!" He raised a massive metal fist to crush us. I looked at Bryan, then at the burning doors. I knew what I had to do. I didn't use the purple fire to fight. I used it to open the chip.

Our security started blocking them as we made our way to our car. We got in, then Hecate gave our driver Amelia's address. As we're driving, I lean my head against Hecate's shoulder.
