His eyes were dark and unfocused, scaring me a little, but I controlled my emotions. He left the spoon and held my hand tightly. Tears started streaming down his eyes. “What are you doing, Herman?” I yelled at Herman through mind-link, baffled by the meltdown of Beta Caden. “Suddenly more rogues surrounded us, and a few of them targeted both Hailley and Grace. I lunged at them and shielded Hailley and Grace behind me, taking a fatal blow on my chest.” His voice raised, filled with sorrow and painful cries. Before I could say a word, Tristan leaped into the pit, to help Zackary free Quinn from the debris, without knowing that Tyler was about to free himself. As I began to scream to them, “Watch out!” Tyler rose from the Debris, with a vengeance, moving straight towards Tristan, throwing his body across the pit like a rag doll. Before his eyes moved to Zackary who was still trying to dig out Quinn, knowing that it would only be moments before he had his hands on her, I leaped into the pit straight towards him, as I shifted in midair, landing right in front of him.

THIRD PERSON In preparation for the ritual, Zane and Trinity head to the ancient ruin. Once there, they search for the entrance. Zane moves very quickly as Trinity takes a step and drops. Zane manages to grab Trinity’s hand, even though even if she had fallen to the ground it wouldn’t have killed her.

Damian immediately grabbed me, hiding me behind his body. Dorr— theshot went off, I opened my eyes when Tristan suddenly shouted.
