When I finally got to my feet, I struggled to move my legs, practically limping as I wanted to get as far away as I could from here. "Ouch," I yelped, falling backwards after colliding with something hard. I stood trembling, as a dim red light shone over me, revealing a cage that I am apparently stuck in, suspended in the air, hanging onto something I couldn't quite see. I scrambled around, trying to find a way out, but on every side, I felt a thick round material, "I'm trapped." I peered through the cable, trying to make out the dark figures I could see using the dim red light. Below me, under the cage, a large void lay, the end of it was nearly impossible to see.

Out of nowhere, a metal cage suddenly fell from above and landed with a loud thud. "Stupid girl! I got you now… Huh?" Keith's smile froze. He realized that he was the only one trapped inside the metal cage, while Larissa stood perfectly fine outside! Keith was dumbfounded. Larissa clicked her tongue disapprovingly. "You fool. Did you think you could catch me with just that?" Keith's face contorted in rage. He grabbed the metal bars and shouted at his men, "What are you all waiting for? Get her!"

Tom’s POV When I woke up, I found out that I was locked up in a cage … yes, you read that right. I was locked up in a bloody metal cage, like some feral wild animal, with no idea of what on earth I had done to deserve such ill-treatment. The cage barely contained me, having barely enough room for me to stand and walk about ten paces. It had very tiny holes that could barely fit a finger, and I assumed that the holes were to let air in.

There seems to be someone trapped inside the cage and I step closer to get a closer look. I step on a twig and the person in the cage snaps up to look at me. I almost scream. "Help me, please." It's me. I'm the one in the cage. My trapped self reaches out to touch the silver bars and her hand burns. I shuffle backwards in shock, and before I can even process what's going on, I hear the snap of another twig. I spin around only to find a familiar red head behind me. He is naked, and his tattoos writhe and shimmer, glowing faintly under the moonlight, patterns I don't understand crawling like living things across his skin.

But before he could step forward, a metal cage dropped from above, trapping him. “Dylan!” I screamed. Dylan was caught in that heavy metal cage. “This was a trap…” I looked around. They had left my hands and feet unbound so I could come to this room.

I was trapped like a rat in a cage, and there was nothing I could do. I sat down in a corner of the cage, staring at nothing, lost in my despair. How could I have been so foolish to try to take Felicity without a proper plan? Now, I was trapped, and who knew what fate awaited me? "It’s over," Mr. Cage muttered, defeated, struggling against the harsh plastic ties biting into his wrists. "He had a secondary team waiting. He outsmarted us."

It’s my cage. And I’m not sure I want to be free.
