Claiming His Treasure series

Claiming His Treasure series

"How much treasure are we talking about?" His black eyes were cool when they shifted back to her. She missed the heat she'd seen in his gaze down below, the hot desire that had burned in his eyes right before he grabbed her and kissed her. "Don't worry, I'm not planning to do anything stupid like go after the treasure myself," she assured him. "As fun as this has been, I know jack-squat about treasure hunting. I did read Treasure Island back in high school, but I'm not sure that counts."

Stealing the Wrong Treasure

Stealing the Wrong Treasure

Summoning every ounce of strength left, I jumped on and tore off toward our hideout. I slammed the door shut behind me and crumpled to the floor, breathless. Blood oozed from my arm, but I had no time for that then. I opened my hand to reveal the prize: a pink diamond, glinting with an otherworldly glow. "It's here. Now talk," I said. Old Fox, ever the cool customer, took the diamond, inspected it briefly in the light, and then pulled out a sealed dossier from his desk. "Everything you need to know about your guy is right here."

MR BILLIONAIRE'S REGRET: CHASING HIS IRRESISTIBLE WIFE

MR BILLIONAIRE'S REGRET: CHASING HIS IRRESISTIBLE WIFE

” he punctuated with a laugh. “I knew I had to get rid of.. of..,” he paused, confused. “ Some of the crew I suppose,” he finished off with a shrug and a proud smile. I was as confused as ever, trying to decide what to make of what I’d just witnessed. But then, upon a closer look at the dresser, I spotted the cover of book turned inside out like the reader didn’t want to lose the page they were on. On the cover page were the words ‘Treasure Island’, written in bold cursive. Then I realized instantly that he'd been quoting Jim Hawkins from the book.

The Island

The Island

“I recognize you. You’re on the footage from that show.” Once again, I forced my expression to remain neutral. I wasn’t going to reveal that I was slightly uncomfortable having been recognized for my appearance on “The Island.” “If you know who I am, you can guess why I’m here.” “The Row-so girl,” he said, mispronouncing her name slightly with his heavy accent. I nodded, crossing my arms over my chest. He shrugged a beefy shoulder and nodded at the other two, who put away their guns. “Come with me.”

The Day She Stopped Waiting

The Day She Stopped Waiting

His hands were shaking. Actually shaking. Lily had never seen him like that. Not once. Then he carefully turned the page. The paper looked ancient. Yellow. Fragile. Covered in faded handwriting. Then he began reading. "My name is Samuel Reed." Silence. "My crew and I discovered something beyond the eastern reefs." Another flash of lightning illuminated the room. Then darkness returned. Thomas continued. "We thought it was treasure." Ava frowned. Of course they did. Every bad story started with treasure.

10 chapters in and I hope it’s second chance book. I love a good “leaving my shitty husband for a better man” plot but sometimes I love a good “I need to get my wife back” plot as well. Sometimes I want to read about how a relationship was pulled back from the brink and I feel this is goi to be it.

The CEO Irresistible Ex-Wife

The CEO Irresistible Ex-Wife

This is so that our business Alliances in the future will be stronger. Oliver nodded with a huge smile on his face. He knew that Old Mr. Hunter will never betray his daughter for the sake of Nora. “Grand pa….. Daddy …..I love Andres, how can you do this to me? Daddy, this is the second time that you are betraying me, you never even told me that we have a treasure in the island. It seems that I am useless to the both for you” tears trickled on her face and Old Mr. Hunter became impatient.

Daniel's the serial cheater and yet he's treated as some prize. Goes back and forth between women and is the one to make decisions on whom he wants to be with every few years. It's sickening! I can't even root for Nora even more & he still causes more stress in her life with Aria coming after her..

I'm getting better at reading unedited books. Once you get past the personal pronoun misuse, likely from a difficulty in language translation, it's a very enjoyable read. I just caught up with the author at chapter 217,and I am looking forward to what Caos will unfold next for this this couple.

My Big Brother

My Big Brother

Dave said with a smile as he looked at me. Once again, I was taken aback. “Treasure island? Wait? Did you say you acquired it?“ I asked, almost in tears. Treasure Island was a small island that had been trending everywhere. It was such a small piece of land in the middle of the sea. Everyone was dying to visit it. I was sure that no amount of money could ever allow anyone to own a piece there. Dave rolled his eyes at me. “Someone told me that she would give me a kiss if I brought her to Treasure Island,” he said.

His Rogue Mate

I grunted slightly, feigning weakness as I hefted him up. “Hey buddy, you've grown so heavy,” I said, watching him smile happily from my words. His smile took me back to years ago to a different smile. The smile of the scrawny, lanky little girl with her odd looking hair that used to follow us all those years ago. I looked up to see Isabella's approving smile and nod toward me. No, she was far from that now. “Would you play with me?” I shifted my focus back to Treasure. With his dark hair and crystalline blue eyes, he was the perfect combination of Isabella and Leo.

Frequently Asked Questions

That creased, yellowed map with an X never fails to light a fuse in me. From the first line of 'Treasure Island' I get pulled into salt air and the creak of timbers — it’s immediate and tactile in a way so many modern adventures try to imitate but rarely match. Jim Hawkins’ viewpoint gives the story a heartbeat: you’re not just watching pirates; you’re growing up with the narrator. The danger feels personal, and Long John Silver isn’t a cardboard baddie but a magnetically complicated presence who can charm you one minute and threaten you the next.

Beyond characters, the book’s pacing is pure craft. Stevenson knew how to stack suspense: clues scattered like coins, mutiny brewing like weather, and then the payoff when plans collide on Skeleton Island. The language is clear and vivid without being showy, which makes it perfect for readers of all ages. It works as a rousing children’s yarn and as a study in moral ambiguity for older readers who like to pick at motivations and consequence.

Then there’s that cultural footprint — peg legs, parrots, treasure maps, and phrases that feel like folklore now. 'Treasure Island' set visual and narrative expectations for what pirates are supposed to be, and those images keep popping up in films, comics, and games. For me, it’s a book that scratches an itch for danger and discovery while still giving me a surprising emotional center; I close it feeling like I’ve left a bench on a windy quay, smiling and a touch wiser.
