Trevor's voice trembled, a dull pain creeping into his heart. Though his residence housed two of Kyle's paintings, this was a genuine piece. How could it be treated so poorly? It was an insult to Kyle and a tragedy for the artwork! His hands shook as he directed someone to hold one side of the painting while he joined the pieces together. This painting was superior to the ones in his collection because the orchid depicted was in full, vibrant bloom. The orchids on Meadow Ridge were naturally more spectacular than those in a backyard.

“But you’re free to hang out here if you want.” I sat up too, brushing ash off my thigh. “No, I should get back to reality. But this was nice” He smiled, like he understood what I meant without needing the backstory. Maybe he did. Trevor walked over to his desk and grabbed something a folded sheet of paper. “Here,” he said, holding it out to me. I took it, slowly opening it. It was a sketch. Holly woke up early that morning. James drove her to Trevor's Pavilion, which was located in the antiques city. Trevor's Pavilion was an antique store operated by Trevor. It mainly dealt with porcelain, gold artifacts, and glassware, as well as calligraphies and paintings. Today was the day Trevor would officially take Holly in as his mentee. He was seated on a vintage parlor chair in his office. Upon meeting Holly, Trevor pulled out an envelope and handed it to her. It was his monetary gift for her.

Henderson’s angry red face slowly faded to a look of stunned confusion. “Hey! Aren't you an artist? Why are you taking an interest in legal matters of the gallery when you're not a lawyer?” I was stunned by my knowledge. I was not a lawyer. “But she's not wrong… Is she?” Mr Henderson countered. “I… well…” Mr. Lowell mumbled, gathering his papers. “Perhaps we should revisit this another time.” He grabbed his briefcase as Mr Henderson frowned at him. He shot me a last, angry look and practically fled the gallery.

"Oh my god, you came! Haven loves your gallery and she's obsessed with your work. In a good way of course! She has one of your sculptures from last year in her room in a very special place." "Okay, so I'm thinking of a collection that will be up for three months. Let's say...twenty five pieces."

"This is one of their adventures. It's from my story last night." It's hard to say what scene in particular Brandon's painting depicts, but I'm not about to tell him that.
