Trinity Bible Church Willow Park Novels & Stories

I woke up an hour before it was time for church. I didn't want to miss the service today. I missed going to church and just woke up feeling the need to go. I wouldn't relate it to how I felt after that night but I dressed up and got ready for church. Dad made us attend The Trinity Church whenever he was around. We stopped going for a while when The Trinity Wall street decided to start a three-year revival project to reinforce the worship experience. As a result of the project, the nave of the church was closed.

“I’ve had enough religion for one day.” 2 Birds were everywhere, their carcasses littering the grounds. Dead birds. Fallen to earth, like so many lumps of coal in the encroaching dark. The parishioners had departed from the Nain Trinity Lutheran Church; no one was left. William Salt was locking up when he heard the strange noises and looked outside. That’s when he saw them, dropping into the dusky parking lot and across the grass, bouncing off his and Reverend Julian’s windshields.

Willow prayed 500 times. She burned the scriptures and shakily stood up. The moment she got up, she nearly fell. Julian stepped forward to support her. He thought Willow would push him away in disgust, but unexpectedly, she didn't. Instead, she said flatly, "Let's go back." Julian's feelings were indescribable, like something precious that had been lost and was now found because Willow was willing to speak to him again. Outside the main hall, a gleaming, luxurious Maybach from Brindley was parked.

I give a discreet nod, and Ellie answers, "Yes! I want to come." Lily looks at me asking, "And you?" Chris was staring. When I glance up he hurries and looks away. I answer, "Sure." The church is less than five minutes away. The marquee is the exact sign Bruce displayed outside his cabin on Knight Island. Their church is small but comfy and newly built. There are five cars in the parking lot already. We enter the sanctuary and everyone greets us and each other with a hug. Chris entered a few seconds behind us and everyone cheered.

A guest book sat on a table right by the entrance beside another image of Pietro with his parents and grandparents outside of their family restaurant. Sawyer placed a hand on Waverly's lower back and led her towards a seat at the pews. They sat together and Waverly's eyes watched as members of the Crimson Shadows trailed in behind them, taking their own seats one after another. Once everyone was seated, the Pastor nodded at Sawyer to indicate the beginning of the service. "Hello everyone," the Pastor began. "We are gathered here today for what is a truly tragic occasion. Before we begin the service, as tradition, our Alpha will give the opening statement. Sawyer, will you please come up and

"Sis, even though you don't believe in God, since you're here, you can make a prayer if you have one. This church has over a thousand years of history and has withstood many wars because of God’s protection." Danielle was speechless. "I couldn’t tell you were such a believer." Beside them, Willow said softly, "Ms. Wendell, if you wish hard enough, your wish will come true. I think what Timothy said makes sense." Danielle smiled and kept quiet, but in her heart, she thought it did not necessarily matter. Willow came here every year, and her wish was well known to everyone, but her wish had not yet been granted. Danielle looked around and said, "It’s pretty nice here."

Trinity Baptist Church was adorned with lush furniture, red carpets, flowers, seats, HD cameras and a well decorated altar. Whitney stopped at the middle of the church. Clinton stepped out and took her by the elbow, her father was supposed to be in that position but she had no idea who he was. Clinton led her to the altar. Ethan stared at her as she slowly walked to the altar, anyone who saw his eyes would believe that he was so in love with Agnes. The occasion proceeded and soon it was time for the wedding vows. "Do you miss Agnes Cole, take Mr Ethan Moore as your lawfully wedded husband?" The pastor asked.

“I don't care where you are. Just tell me where she is” “Yes sir, she is inside the church”. The voice replied with a lot of certainty. “Why is she in a Church?” He wondered because Willow was not really someone who was down on religion. “Sir it seems she is getting married”. “What the fuck”!! Kevin yelled with red eyes and his veins almost popping off his neck.

A spell with no proof. They walked down the aisle together to the elevated circular platform where the priest stood. "Greetings," the priest said, tipping his head in acknowledgment. "Please put your hands forward and hold them." Wes and Willow faced each other while holding hands. She felt a certain warmth in his touch. The priest started chanting in a language that Willow didn't understand. She briefly made eye contact with Wes and immediately looked away. A thin mist of rain had begun to fall behind the priest, glistening beneath the yellow pillar lamps.

Willow's POV. "Addison dear can you help me with these boxes?" I heard Grace from down the hall. I walked back to her room and she had three boxes with clothes and other things in them. I grabbed one and started heading out the door. "Just set them by the front door. We will have Pastor Wilson come get them later." I nodded and took the boxes to the living room and placed them by the door.
