Half a year ago, as An Nian lay dying in a crumpled wreck of a car, he had gripped Xavier’s hand with his last ounce of strength. "Big Brother," he had coughed, blood staining his golden hair. "I’ve always had a secret. I really am your younger brother. My name is An Nian... I took my mother's surname. My mother is Anna." It was too late. By the time the truth was spoken, Xavier could do nothing but watch the light fade from his brother’s eyes. "He didn't die," Xavier said suddenly, turning to the Matriarch. "What?" "He didn't die at birth. He lived for twenty-two more years."

"What is it?" "You're quite close with Madam's fourth brother, Axel, right? You two go way back, and you're both from the same school. He's still a top-notch secret agent with extraordinary skills. He is my classmate and Natasha's brother." I sighed as I knew I cannot ignore her questions. "Okay, the boy looks nice but has a strange aura. I would say to be careful dear." She said concerned. Almost everyone is telling me to be beware of Xavier as if he is a killer out there to kill me. Gosh!!

Even if she did change her mind, she knew her husband will never do that, his ego has been bruised and only retaliation would fix it for him. Xavier had almost made it to the front door when he bumped into Triple J at the hallway, he seemed heavy on alcohol. He must have been drinking this morning already. Triple J paused when he saw Xavier and then he frowned. “What are you doing here, thief!” he spat and scoffed at him. Xavier stood silently without replying to him, he didn’t have time to engage words with his psycho twin brother right now as he had better things to deal with, but he was however worried about the Queens; they were about to lose two sons at the same time.

A dull throbbing pain pulsed throughout his body and J found it hard to calm down. Countless images flashed in front of his eyes. He squeezed shut his eyelids, opened them again, and beneath the limpid eyes, dangerous red glints flashed. J turned around, glaring discontentedly at the stiff Xavier. "What did you do to my brother? His condition didn't seem good. Did you use your dark magic on him?" Xavier flinched. Shit. Is he able to sense that brat's condition despite being separated by two different dimensions? What kind of connection does he have with that human? Did he share the same soul as him or what? Can he feel his pain?

Alex felt dizzy from the sudden information slammed at him, his brain taking a few minutes to reboot itself.

I winced, scrunching my eyes up as I placed my hand on my forehead. I flicked my eyes open and took a clearer look at the image. I was confused because I didn't know what he was doing with Xavier. Was he Xavier's brother? If he was Xavier's brother, then why was he trying to kill Xavier, and most especially, why was he trying to kill me? There were so many secrets about Xavier and all the people around him that needed to be unraveled but on second thought, why would I need to unravel the secrets when I would be set free today?

He gave Nadia a gentle pat on the back and held Angel's gaze. "When next there's a crisis that concerns you or your mate and you tell me to leave you behind, I'm going to break your nose," Xavier said. Angel's eyes moistened and Xavier jerked him into a hug. "You are my brother. I just found you. If they want Nadia, let them come," Xavier said.

Instead, he quickly dodged and hid in the corner. "Please don't kill me… Please don't kill me…" Upon seeing Xavier in this state, Jeremiah abandoned the idea of killing him. Mark was correct—after all, Xavier was his older brother. "What should we do now, sir?" the subordinate asked. "Take him back first and lock him up." Jeremiah still couldn't believe that Xavier would go insane. Xavier sat in the corner, holding his head, saying, "My head hurts.
