The man's face remains carefully turned away from the security cameras as he pauses at the nurse's station, seemingly checking paperwork, waiting for the perfect moment. It comes when Trent's head finally drops completely, soft snores escaping his parted lips. The orderly moves with sudden purpose, abandoning the cart and approaching Flora's room with silent footsteps. From his pocket, he produces a swipe card—cloned from an administrator's badge—and holds it against the electronic lock. The door clicks open with a barely audible sound.

Grabbing my laptop and my water bottle, I close up my room and head to the front of the school. "Hey Karina," she greets me as I come through the double doors.
