Twenty minutes later, I was treated to Trina looking like I had never seen her before. She wore a clingy black skirt with a pale blue blouse. Knee-length stockings and black pumps completed the outfit. Her hair was neatly brushed back and her bangs were out of her eyes, displaying her lovely face. Deirdre had helped her apply light makeup. I am sure I looked astonished. "Wow," I breathed, "You look amazing. Now I feel underdressed." "Let me get a picture of you two!" Deirdre said. She grabbed her tablet as I stood up.

an eyebrow rose a notch together with the question she uttered. Gone were the aged clothing that she knew by sight and touch. The ones that she had taken good care over the years. "They became unwearable because of the poison, mom. The healer was rather adamant that we get rid of those clothes quickly so as to avoid further infection to other people. They were burned to ashes. I’m sorry, mom." Tristan lied not only with a straight face but also with an almost crying face. "Let me buy you a new set of clothes after we fetch my good for nothing father downstairs. How about that, mom?" he added without missing a beat and returned to put his mask of levity back on.

Aurora. Closer up, Trina noticed the cut of the dress. Fine fabric. Made in Tron. A special type that only members of the lineage could wear. Audacity. And the hair? Silver like fire under moonlight. Trina wanted to laugh. The girl had spent her life hiding who she was... and now she paraded around as if she were a sacred jewel. “She's just an orphan. And she doesn't even know how to play.” Trina arrived smiling. Arms open, wide smile.

By now, I was used to attention, but it still thrilled me in a strange, electric way. Then I saw the triplets. All three. They stood together like shadows of power and perfection, clad in black suits with golden bow ties. My chest tightened. Anger flared immediately, sharp and hot. How did we end up eating the same colour. Ugh. Before I could stew too long, Fenrir approached, looking dashing in a white suit that perfectly contrasted the triplets’ darkness. “You both look amazing,” he said. He offered his hand. Elera nodded eagerly. “Go ahead, Calla,” she whispered.

"I made the sashes myself." Carly’s eyebrow cocked as she studied the Treat costume. The cups on the bikini-style top looked like white frosting, with two faux red gumdrops attached right at the nipples. The bikini bottom was also solid white, with a design printed right over the crotch: a 3-inch-tall piece of candy corn, its triangle shape mimicking the triangle of pussy hair underneath. The outfit also came with red-and-white striped thigh-highs. Plus, of course, the pink satin sash reading “TREAT.”

“Do I look like a girl to you?” I couldn’t help but burst into laughter. Oh, I did that on purpose. “You don’t like the colour?” I teased, raising a brow. “Why would I? I’m not a girl! Come on, change it,” he protested like a sulking five-year-old. I turned to Bob. “Please switch it before he cries.” Bob chuckled, handed him a blue one, and peace was restored. Once everyone had their masks on, I gave final instructions. “Alright, I’m heading out first with Eric since he’s on the keyboard. The rest of you will come in when we hit that part we rehearsed. Got it?”

I learned how you use the things the earth supplied to cast spells and I learned to respect the goddess and her gifts. So after everything did I deserve and want a party? Hell yes! And my parents were all too happy to throw me one. They had already started decorating and preparing the backyard for a major blowout and had even hired a real DJ for it. They had invited a bunch of people from the old community claiming something about me "coming out".. I am so hungry. “Yes?” He asks, grabbing one himself. “I don’t have a costume.” I say, and he smiles, while walking to the closet. He comes out with his own costume and underwear, laying it on the bed. Then he goes back to the closet, while I keep munching on food. He comes back out with another costume; the dress is dark purple, and the stockings are black. The dress has that princess feel over it, with a sweetheart neckline and lots of puff. He then goes back in a third time, and comes back out with three boxes.

He stood up from the bed and decided it was time for the moon goddess to intervene. He summoned her by calling her name thrice but she made no appearance. He waited for a little while before calling her again but without no reply. He was on his way to the bathroom when he felt a domineering presence in his room. He turned to come in face with the moon goddess. She was in an overflowing white garment and her hair was done in two braids. This made her look like a bridesmaid bit he knew better than that. He bowed down to her and waited until she talked before he lift his head up.

Andrella’s POV . . . “Are you sure that Cade gave you this dress to wear?”, Trisla asked in shock and looked at the dress which I was wearing. I nodded my head, staring at the girl standing in front of the mirror. I would have chosen some other dress but then all the dresses from my closet disappeared just after I walked inside the washroom. It seemed like Cade was adamant to see me in this dress only. So I didn’t have any choice left except to wear this dress.
