Just then Hunter scampered up to us. “I got his line.” “Which way.” “Headed North.” “Toward the WildWood?” Vanquish asked in surprise. “He must be thinking if he can make it there, we won’t follow him in.” Racer suggested. “We can’t.” Vanquish agreed. “Not with the wolf-hunting-Roamer there.” “What’s that?” I asked. “A troll. I think.” Racer murmured. “A giant. He hunts anything with fur and ears that seems like it might be a wolf.”

I checked with Rivers and he confirmed that when he discovered the bodies, Chloe was surrounded by blood but there was no blood on her except her own.” “Okay that is unusual but hardly outstanding.” Johnny pointed out.

Chapter 101: Hounds From Hell Unknown Location, Unknown State... Snakeskin boots touched down onto white dust as the infamous killer kidnapper known fully as Jarrett Quinton Beaulieu slid out of his truck. His keen narrow eyes had been fixated on a rather impressive but barely held-together hunting shack as he gripped a silver barrel shotgun and made his way up the small wooden steps and into the front door. There had been a good deal of blood splattered about the place, remains and carcasses of dead animals of various kinds, and an occasional human body or two shot through the heart and lying where they had been dropped Jarrett had not been a stranger to nature, no stranger to nature at all

Before Emilia and I could ogle at the adorable family for longer, we were pulled back by our scrubs. “If you’re done ogling at them, we have to go downstairs to receive the incoming trauma.” Henry grumpily said and shoved the charts into our hands. “Says you,” Emilia grunted, “That’s how you met Amy by the way. Unable to hold my frustration in any longer, I ball my fist up and punch Trigger in the face as hard as I can, making him go flying backward into Harley's lamp, which shatters on her floor. Fucking idiot. Callum gathers his money and begins walking toward the door, refusing to turn his back on us which is a smart move on his part.
