Trolls Xmas Novels & Stories

My brother―in―law talked too much. — Explain yourself Ricardo Marcondes — Manu demanded. —You 'll see each other soon,— I joked. I had to put up with the anxiety of my two girls, thanks to Andrew's big tongue. But it didn't take long for the big moment to arrive. On a big screen located inside the house, we show photos of our best moments, from when we were children. Our games, birthday parties, school and our achievements. The trips we took together and some moments we lived after I returned to Brazil. All this with the song Love Me Like You Do by the singer Ellie Goulding. It was their favorite song. They were holding hands, facing the screen and were moved by each image that passed. But n

They simply stopped at the edge of the celebration and watched. The joyful noise didn't falter; it swelled. As if sensing the audience, the Trolls ground their stones louder. The Ravens performed a deliberately clumsy mid-air collision, sending feathers drifting down. A group of pups, covered in paint, ran shrieking between the Hollow Men's legs. One Hollow Man stepped forward. It didn't raise a weapon. It reached for a perfectly stacked pile of painted rocks a child had made, clearly intending to rearrange it into something orderly. Before its hand could touch the stones, Aria stepped into its path.

Molly caught the door before it smashed into her friend. Hannah grinned at him. “Thanks. Bring it around to the back.” Molly held the doors as Hannah and Nicholas carried the heavy boxes out to the alley behind the shop. A large float sat waiting for them. Sitting in the center of the float, surrounded by fake snow and oversized brightly-wrapped boxes was a Christmas tree. Except it wasn't a real tree. It was two ten-foot tall plywood cutouts of Christmas trees slid into one another to form a four pointed tree. The strange part was that it was filled from top to bottom with small drilled holes.

“We’re going to do something fun.” “Like what?” Autumn asks, looking up at me. She still looks worn down, but there’s a ghost of a smile on her lips. That’s a start. “Christmas movie marathon. We’ll watch some of the classics and some of those awful ones where the girl gives up the job of her dreams to move in with a guy who sells Christmas trees for a living or something.” Autumn’s smile grows. “They’re kind of romantic, in a way.” “What would be romantic is if the Christmas tree seller guy moved to the big city with the girl and got a real job,” Benedict says. “Let him make a sacrifice for once.”

I saw a wolf who had just cleared the board. Jeffrey had left the previous evening after a friend called to say he was in town. That left just the three of us. Again. Me. Chloe. And the man who had spent the last forty-eight hours systematically stripping away every layer of my resistance. *** "Come on, Maya! Stop looking so gloomy. It's Christmas Eve!" Chloe's voice snapped me out of my trance. She was sitting cross-legged on the plush white rug in front of the massive stone fireplace, holding a glass of champagne.

Doris said with a nod before taking another bite of her sandwich. Brady had been smart to put her mom in charge of the Christmas events. If anyone could get it done, it was Doris Snow. “You know,” Doris said, setting her burger down on the wrapper. “You could use a little Christmas spirit around here, Noelle. I didn’t see any Christmas decorations outside. Don’t you have a speaker system you can use to pipe in some Christmas music?” Noelle raised an eyebrow. She hadn’t even thought about doing either of those things, which was a real shame. “Yeah, I think we could fix both of those problems pretty easily.”

"Heard of it? Yeah, my little cousin refused to eat Christmas dinner last year because he was playing the game. It was quite the topic of discussion for my family. He uses his allowance every month to pay for the subscription cost. My aunt was not happy when my dad gifted him a free year." "I can't think of a better Christmas gift." Trey's lazy smile is back. "Anyway, we sold Dragons Reborn last year and moved on to smaller projects. This vacation is my reward for getting the company finalized and running smoothly. It's been hard on all of us." His head falls back to rest on the leather couch as he looks to the darkened sky.

“You wish. Here does not feel like Christmas, so let us go shop for Christmas trees, flowers, and lots of roses.” “Put those clothes down. Let us go.” I was about to drag her out, but she stopped me. “We do not celebrate Christmas around here, Lisa.” Huh? What was she saying? I noticed that she was twisting her fingers. She only does that when nervous. Are they pagan? That explains it. “Here is the Silvercrest Dominion pack, the strongest of all packs. My father is the Alpha… we are werewolves, Lisa. It is high time I come out of my closet.”

It was the kind of Christmas Eve I had always loved; cozy, familiar, safe. "Werewolves." My cousin whispered dramatically, leaning forward so the younger kids hung on her every word. "They hunt in the night, their eyes glowing red, their claws sharp enough to tear through bone. And when they catch you..." She paused, lowering her voice to a chilling whisper. "...They drink your blood and turn you into werewolves!!" The children shrieked in unison, clutching each other, their wide eyes reflecting the firelight. My cousin burst into laughter, clearly pleased with herself.
