Flipping to the back section, which dealt with magic other than spells, she was pleased to find she had opened to the exact page she was seeking—the beginning of a chapter about dreams. She wondered if it had been luck or magic that had guided her to this page. She closed the book and then carefully re-opened it to a spot she thought was much closer to the back. She was only mildly surprised when she found herself looking at the same page as a moment before. It was magic, all right. Somehow, the book was sensing what she wanted and neatly providing it for her. Wondering what else this amazing book could do, Leesa began to read.

Arnold explained. “Mumma, can I also touch it,” Sia asked stretching her hand to touch the book. When Sarah nodded, Sia took the book from her mother and turned it this way and that. Then she said frowning, “Mumma, there is no screen, there are no buttons either. What do we do with it?” “Let me show you,” Sarah said and opened the book for her. “You read one page and then you can turn the page to read the next one.”

commanded Gerald. “I-I’ll talk! J-just flip to the fifteenth page of that book! Once you get to that page, place your hand on it…!” yelled the terrified girl as she began pointing toward an ancient-looking book on one of the shelves. Grabbing it, Gerald then asked, “This sutra?” “Y-yeah!” whimpered the girl as Gerald did as she instructed…

If it helps Willow. Swallowing the last of the hesitation, he opened the cover. Blank page. He turned the next one. Blank again. He flipped through the next few and still nothing appeared to him. He let out a disgruntled sigh before closing the book and setting it down on the coffee table. Meow.

Just what was up with this thick book? A while later, he began channeling his spirit energy into the Book of Sequence instead. As his powerful spirit energy entered the book, it shone silver as it opened up at once. There were seven pages in total. Each page's function appeared in Wilbur's mind as well. A beat later, he smiled in satisfaction. This was definitely something good. Each page of the Book of Sequence held a spell. Which meant that the book currently held seven spells. All it took was to flip to the page of the spell you wanted to cast. By channeling a bit of spirit energy, the spell would be cast.

Most of them have only one picture on the page and are a quarter of the size of a regular book. "Shit." I say quietly. "I can't believe it still costs ten bucks for a book that only has six pages. I can get a two hundred page paperback at the grocery store for the same price." Tiffany smirks. "But does your two hundred page paperback have fur like this touchy-feely book with a tiger on the front?" "It has fur?" I grab it out of her hands and begin going through it, touching all the different pictures as I turn the pages.

A boy’s voice is tinged with disdain as he speaks in a low whisper. Ignoring the sting of the words, I move to the next shelf, determined to finish my task. I run my fingers along the spines of the books, feeling the textured wear of countless hands that have held them before. I place another card in front of an ancient copy of Turned By Moonlight, the pristine white of the new card stark against the yellowed pages.
