Giving Him Up

Giving Him Up

Within the circle, everyone knew I had been Leo’s most devoted, submissive admirer. For thirteen years, I chased him relentlessly, transforming myself from an uneducated, middle-school-dropout, illegitimate child of a wealthy family into an Ivy League economics master’s graduate. Only then did his mother finally acknowledge me, and I became Mrs. Smith. However, after the wedding, I no longer meddled in Leo’s company, cooked, or served him. While he stayed up late planning strategies for his first love, I traveled the world with friends. He would accompany her to Paris fashion shows, and I celebrated my cat’s birthday at home. I understood that a commercial marriage could never produce love. Everything I had poured my heart into was just my own foolish obsession. In my past life, I handled his company’s internal conflicts for him. Yet, he frowned, scolding, “You’re reaching too far.” I cooked soups for his stomach ailments, only to see him hand them off to his overworked first love, brushing it off, “She works harder than I do.” Even on the day I had a car accident, he lit fireworks across the city just to see her smile. I begged him, but he looked down at me from above. “Nicole, what we have is only a transaction.” Then, I opened my eyes and found myself back at our engagement banquet, watching him leave midway to comfort his heartbroken first love. This time, I did not chase after him. Instead, I picked up the microphone and said before all the guests. “Sorry, everyone. My engagement with Leo is canceled.”

The Bride He Rejected Twice

The Bride He Rejected Twice

I swore I'd never crawl back the night my Alpha turned me down. He kept me a secret because I was a "fat nobody," until I saw him kiss my best friend under the full moon. He told me I wasn't good enough to be his Luna. He told me I'd hurt his reputation. After three years, I go back to Los Angeles with a kid he doesn't know about and a new name for the baby. Thanks to a DNA story that showed I was switched at birth, I'm no longer the mean Omega that everyone made fun of. I'm now the heiress of the Moonstone Corporation. No matter how much power I have, wear, or how red my hair is, he doesn't know me. He will, though. He needs me now, not you. His company is failing. The throne of his pack is in danger. And I’m the only one who can save it for a price. The contract marriage he offers? I’ll sign it just to watch him burn with the same hunger he once denied me. But every time he touches me, every time his eyes darken with that old possessiveness, I feel the tie we both tried to break. And when he finds out the truth that the little boy calling me “Mommy” has his golden eyes it’ll be too late. Because the rejected Luna doesn’t want payback anymore. She wants power. And maybe… she still wants him. He was my first loss. I’ll be his last chance

The Daughter They Buried Twice

The Daughter They Buried Twice

Ten years after my wealthy family took me back, I died in the rental house my billionaire parents had dumped me in. My son was three. Just to mess with me, the kidnapper gave me three chances to call for help. If even one person was willing to come see me, he'd spare my child. The first call was to my father, the man who'd spent fifteen years searching for me. He was busy directing the staff as they set up my adoptive sister's birthday party. When he picked up, he barked, "Estelle Emerson, seriously? Can you go one week without causing a scene? It's your sister's birthday. I'm busy. Don't kill the vibe." The second call was to my mother, the woman who brought me home and changed my name from Dixie to Estelle. But Vera snatched the phone and laughed so hard she could barely get the words out. "Estelle, seriously? If you're gonna make something up, at least make it believable. You look so broke you probably don't even have fifty bucks. What kidnapper would pick you?" The third time, I called Luca's father, my legal husband. He said he was in a meeting and didn't have time to play games with me. He also said that if I behaved myself, he'd agree to take me home for dinner next week. After the final call ended, I looked at the grinning kidnapper in despair and sent the last two messages of my life. A photo of myself covered in blood. And a short message, every word sincere. [I'm really going to die. In my next life, don't bring me home.]

There's a phrase, right in the initial chapters, where Noel says she is not old, but is too old to start again. That really got to me, because even now we are taught that. We need more diversity in our female characters, so thanks for writing this.

I absolutely love this book, It has so much depth and it's not all sunshine and roses which makes It that much more real. Hoping it will be finished soon! And if it's by any chance based on a true story, Noel is strong and amazing and worthy of love and happiness, hope she never believes otherwise!

TWICE SOLD: The Forsaken Dwagi

TWICE SOLD: The Forsaken Dwagi

In a world where Omegas are bought, sold, and treated as slaves, Arwenna learned early what survival meant... what it entails and what it should be. Sold by her aunt at the age of sixteen, Arwenna was married off to an old man to pay the debts her aunt owed. A mere Omega was not cared for by the clan nor the Alpha... It never really mattered if they survived or not. Years later, she was blamed for the death of the same man she was forcefully married to. And now she was to be sold... dragged back to the same clan, to the same guardian who sold her off like a commodity; she was thrown back to everything she once escaped but now as nothing but the slave she always has been. Time flew by like a curse that came to haunt, sticking to her like glue. She lost her wolf... lost. She never got her wolf, only to realize during the mating season that she doesn't have a mate. "The Moon Goddess is so shrewd," she cried out, with emotions that have been bottled up for years. Nothing seems to be working, and now her aunt gives her away... No, she sells her again to the palace as a 'Dwangi,' a slave specially to keep the Alpha sane before finding his mate. She agreed. What's the purpose when she's like a useless paper plate that doesn't serve any purpose other than to be used and discarded? But what she doesn't know is that her story just begins.",

Twin Mix-up

Twin Mix-up

My husband and his beloved mistress died together in a car accident. They left me with a pair of illegitimate children. Eighteen years passed in a blur. I poured my heart and soul into raising those children until, at last, they earned admission to Corvell University, the country's top university. But on the very day they received their acceptance letters, my 'dead' husband returned. And beside him stood his mistress. She clutched my husband's arm and beamed at me. "Thanks to your tireless care, my two sons finally made it into Corvell. If not for you, the two of us wouldn't have been free to live so happily together all these years..." Later, my husband demanded a divorce. He wanted to marry his mistress and reunite their perfect little family of four. I didn't cry, nor did I rage. I only smiled and said, "Sure."
