Nico just scoffed, "Believe me, Xander, I'm pretty sure you can lie out of this one, plus Layla may be a Bronwyn but she's not a genius." My brows furrowed as he said that. She must be the Lord's daughter. I didn't even know he had a daughter. "I heard my name!" An unfamiliar voice sang out. All three of us turned our heads to the left to see who said it. A blonde vampire strut towards us, smiling as we all looked at her. Xander quickly sat up straighter as she approached. I leaned back against Nico out of nervousness, but couldn't help but look over her features.

“You’re definitely not a werewolf.” All the women at the table turned to look at him with keen interest. Azrael didn’t flinch under the attention. He was lean but muscular, dressed sharply with no hair out of place, the very picture of aristocratic control. “I’m a vampire,” he replied calmly, sipping from the ornate goblet. Bella’s eyes widened. “I knew I was smelling blood somewhere,” she said. “I just thought the pregnancy was making me smell weird things.” She didn’t sound disgusted—just genuinely fascinated.

Zayn heard a sound and turned to see a wolf while Bella smiled at him telling him that she just saved his life while Zayn rolled his eyes and turned his head away from her. With a chuckle, Bella turned and could not see the witch that attacked her. She tried to fight theagic that was slowly surrounding her. The magic was dark thus making it difficult for her to breathe. She knew that it was her end and she was ready to accept it. She could not resist any more but then she was pulled out of the darkness. She inhaled deeply and tried to look at the person that was holding her against his chest. She squinted her eyes seeing the vampire as she did not expect to be saved by him.

I hadn’t seen scars like that in decades. Getting a new towel, I wiped her face and her hair. She had light brown hair and fair skin, not unlike most vampires, though hers had a kind of luminescence to it. By the time the doctor returned, I was leaning against the wall, foot propped up. The doctor had the blood bag flowing into the girl quickly. I was transfixed. The open wound on her chest mended closed. It had been a long time since I saw such a thing. I came closer, watching over the doctor’s shoulder.

I am going to watch a movie.” Bella tells him as she pushes up from the floor and moves over to sit on her bed. “What movie?” “Interview With The Vampire,” Bella tells him, as she climbs beneath the covers of her bed and pulls them up over her lap. She is cold all the time now when she used to be hot all of the time. Yet, ever since she came here it is like she can not get warm.

As the vampires closed in on Darell and Chris, a sudden howl echoed through the castle. Darell recognized it immediately. "That's Bella," he said, relief flooding through him. Seconds later, the door burst open, and Darell's sister and her mate Sam charged into the room, followed by Sam's three brothers, Thomas, Matthew, and David. The vampires turned to face the new threat, and Darell and Chris took the opportunity to launch their attack. Bella shifted into her wolf form, her powerful jaws closing around the throat of the nearest vampire. Sam and his brothers joined in the fight, their werewolf strength overwhelming the vampires.
