one of the elders called out to me but I was too mesmerized by her beauty while she fidgeted with crimson cheeks. "Alpha, lady Bella is here." Epsilon Damon gently tugged me on the shoulder causing me out snap out of the trance. "Did you say anything?" I broke off my stare and looked at epsilon Damon who was seated next to me "Yes, Alpha, lady Bella wood is here with us. You may introduce her." He answered back. "Oh, okay, this is Bella wood from the moonstone pack and she is my fated mate," I said while sneaking a little glance when I could at Bella who avoided my stare and looked at the floor.

Then he let it drop, running his fingers through his hair in frustration. Then, he heard quiet footsteps. It was Bella, stepping out of the shadows with a sly smile. She was dressed in a black mid-length gown, a bit different from her usual style. The front zipper was slightly open, showing just enough cleavage. The fabric hugged her slender body, and her dyed brown hair fell loosely down her neck. “Well, look at that,” she purred, shaking her head. “Seems like we’re both cast aside.”

With that, she raises a hand, her fingers extending like skeletal branches, and Bella feels a chill run down her spine. The girl's eyes seem to flash with an otherworldly light, and for a moment, Bella thinks she sees something ancient and evil lurking just behind her eyes. Bella’s POV In a few minutes, it would be midnight and my heart stopped beating. The noise of the crowd around me was nothing compared to the chaos in my head. I was going to turn twenty-one and it meant I could finally be my own wolf. I could finally stop being a shadow of my sister, Talia. “Can you feel the air change, Bella?” Like a curse, I snapped out of my trance and I heard her high-pitched voice right in front of me –Talia McKenzie, my twin sister. She had her arms spread out and her eyes locked on mine as she dared me to give her a reply.

She dropped her sword and reached her head. “Bella!” Winter shouted as she held her. “Listen to my voice,” Winter called as Ulric advanced toward Winter with his sword but Paxton blocked it. “Bellatrix, it’s Winter. Listen to my voice, not to the click. Listen to my heartbeat.” Winter places her hand on her chest. Bella was regaining her consciousness. “You little witch.” Ulric gritted his teeth. “I should’ve made sure that you weren’t breathing.”

Seeing Bella, Pearl couldn't hide her envy. Bella was also wearing a black, tight-fitting dress, but it was long with a high slit, revealing her slender and fair legs. The beautiful dress not only highlighted Bella's fair skin but also accentuated her attractive curves. Bella had light makeup, flowing long hair, and wore an expensive silver-white jewelry set, enhancing her beautiful face. The combination of dark clothing and sparkling jewelry created an elegant and impressive style.

And somehow— terrifying. Because despite how wrecked she looked… her eyes— were alive. Burning. Pure evil. The girls helping her stopped directly in front of me. Bella didn’t look at anyone else.
