The cake shop prepared different types of cupcakes as examples and Emma asked Jazlyn to choose. "It's just a cupcake, Jazlyn. And I don't think there are so many variants," Emma said casually looking at the rows of cupcakes that were made. "I really can get fat like this," Jazlyn mumbled softly. "Of course not. It's very low in sugar. Try it," said Emma who had brought Jazlyn closer to the row of cupcakes on the table. Jazlyn had already sighed and was starting to stare at all the very tempting looking cupcakes on the table. "Okay. Let's try."

She was holding a packet of white powder, the same one she had tried to use on my food at lunch. "What is that?" I asked. But I already had a pretty good idea of what it was. It was something that would make me her daughter forever. If I drank it, I would go blind for good. She didn't answer.
