He did not like dirt and was annoyed by disorder. The three gentlemen who were waiting for him at the place were also dressed in suits. Luciano carefully observed them while he and his lawyer stood in front of them to begin negotiations. Luciano noticed that one of his counterparts had a somewhat strange tattoo on his neck. Although he tried to hide it under his shirt, part of it was exposed. The small image that Luciano's eyes could capture looked like a rose. He had no way of knowing what the tattoo was in its entirety, but something triggered his alarms, he felt like he had seen that drawing somewhere else.

They both checked their cards. Lily, raise 300 and Lyla calls. Lily took the cards and started placing them 1 card face down and the remaining cards face up. There was the black 4 of spade, black 6 of club, and red 6 of diamond, Lily smiled and Lyla twitched her lips.

Inside was a single sheet of matte black paper, the message printed in faint grey type, like a whisper in ink: You’re not the only one watching. You’ve got forty-eight hours before someone decides your past isn’t worth hiding. No signature. No mark. But the phrasing… sharp, precise. It reminded her of the way Leo Knight spoke—only this was colder, less amused. Her mind moved fast—cross-referencing jobs, old contacts, burned clients—but there were too many possibilities. She turned the page over, and a smaller slip of paper fell out. A photograph. Her chest tightened.

"Hope this is my lucky hand." "Uh-huh." I glanced at my cards. A four of hearts and an eight of clubs. "Hit me." "Hitting you." She slapped down a card-and it was a ten of hearts. Fuck. Juliet pulled another card for herself and smiled brilliantly. "I'm standing-on twenty." I flicked my cards over. "Burned." "Oooooh, it is my lucky hand." She leaned up, and the rosy tips of her full breasts brushed the table. "Take off the pants, Noah."

And even though I thought that the funeral was hectic, what happens after the door is opened is hectic as hell. (A/N Liam is the older twin while Luca is younger)

She stared into his brown eyes. Unrequited love is the worst. It never quenches your thirst. When you love someone the most, but they treat you like a ghost.
