“Nobody can see us.” XXX

“That’s not us.” A final screen remained active. A single line of text appeared. WE SEE YOU. And then— The warehouse door began to open.

Tell me where you are. The humour drains a notch. ME: Why are you texting me at midnight? Are you drunk? Three dots appear. They disappear and reappear. My grip tightens on the phone. TYLER: Just don't go anywhere tonight and tomorrow. Please. A chill slides down my spine. ME: Why? This time, he doesn't reply right away. When my phone vibrates again, it's not a text. It's a call. I hesitate for half a second, then I answer.

“Yes, I’m here I can hear you” I hear laughing, “Emma tilt the screen toward your face”. I see his face on the screen in real time! “That’s more like it, hey beautiful”. What is this sorcery I think to myself. He can sense my confusion. “It’s called facetime because you can see my face”.

He growled, his eyes blazing. I frowned, my heart skipping a beat. "What messages Liam?" He reached into his pocket, pulled out his phone and unlocked it. After a moment, he held it up to me. I stared at the three messages that were clear on the screen and, sure enough… The word ‘SEEN’ was as clear as day under the final text…

“Open it.” Sandra touched the small icon that said SEA and found a number of items inside. Her music, her books, the few games she liked to play on her Kindle. There was a folder of photos including the ones they had taken at Chang’s the first time they were in France and the private pictures he had taken a few weeks ago at his office; the ones where he had photographed his initials on her delicate body, her breasts and a few of her labia. “What if someone sees these?” she asked in an alarmed tone, staring at the man who smiled back at her.

Her head hurts again. " YOU AGAIN?! " Alexia can't believe that she's not hallucinating about what happened to her in the backyard last night. It is really true. " WHO REALLY ARE YOU? WHY I CAN SEE YOU? " Alexia asked the guy that she saw, Redxan Silhouette. " I don't know too! This just happened! " Red explained. The only thing that they can see is each other's surroundings, but they can't see their faces. Alexia is going through her room. Xandra must not see her! They calmed themselves for a while

I said. "Tessa… when we started talking online, I honestly thought you were just pretending to be pitiful to scam me." Now that Calvin had seen everything for himself, he no longer suspected that I was lying to him. After some thought, he looked steadily into my eyes. I wanted to say no, but at the same time, I wanted to say yes. I groaned and kicked my legs back and forth on my bed in frustration. I started contemplating my answer; I must have taken too long to reply because he texted me again.

Instead, it’s a text from Tyler. [Ty: My name is Tyler Winchester. Pleased to finally meet you.] I just… stare at it. For a second, I don’t even move. Just let it sit there on the screen, a single line of text that shouldn’t feel like a gut punch, and yet it does. Because that? That’s Tyler reaching out. That’s him saying, 'I see you now. I still want to know you anyway.' I thumb a response back before I can second-guess it.
