I retreat into myself, feeling the weight of the world pressing down on me. I wake up the next morning, my mind immediately consumed by thoughts of Tyler and Natasha being acquainted with each other. Determined to confront him, I make my way down to the dungeon where he’s imprisoned. The air feels heavy with anticipation as I approach his cell. Not bright, but enough to see in the dim gym light. Tyler, the idiot sophomore who always thought he was funny, was crouched on the floor, nails too long, scraping across the tile. Tyler shot him a withering glare before storming out in anger. I let out the breath I didn’t realize I was holding. Tyler’s words left me in complete disarray. I didn't know Denver was on medication.
