A few days later, Ethan and Alexander sat at the noisiest café near the office, talking as easily as ever.
"You can't be serious," Alexander said, near-choking with laughter as Ethan related a particularly embarrassing childhood story.
"I wish I were," Ethan said, smiling. "But no, my uncle actually made me wear that ridiculous suit to the fundraiser. I looked like a miniature mob boss."
"Well, at least you've got a sense of humor about it," Alexander chuckled, " 'cause most people in your shoes would probably try to bury that type of story."
Ethan shrugged. "What's the point? Everybody has embarrassing moments. Besides, more often than not it is good to laugh at oneself."
