Novel & Cerita Under The Dome

The absence of his touch left a cold spot on her shoulder, a void she refused to acknowledge. The cabin fell back into silence. But the air between them had grown warmer. Noticeably warmer. Twenty minutes later, the car pulled smoothly into a secure compound. The gates slid open without a sound, revealing a sprawling underground facility. The doors slid open. Rain hammered against the ground outside, sending up clouds of white spray. Dominic stepped out first, his black tactical suit cutting a sharp, imposing figure against the night. Raindrops beaded on his shoulders, glinting like scattered diamonds under the dim lights.

The vertical chasm roared like a living beast, a pitch-black abyss tearing straight through the concrete foundation of the upper medical academy. Four hundred feet below, the high-velocity torrent of the Inner Dome's primary gray-water line surged toward the lowlands, its distant thunder shaking the very floorboards beneath Vivian’s boots.

"Together we're an unstoppable force - no Karen or anyone else can stand in our way." "Exactly," Chad agreed, eyes glinting with mischief. "And now that I've fed you, how about I show you exactly what this force is capable of?" Cassandra felt a familiar heat begin to coil in her belly as he slid his chair back and prowled towards her with a predatory gleam in his eye. "Oh yeah?" she challenged, squirming under his intent stare. "And what would that be, oh mighty Dom of mine?"

High above the central training coliseum, on the grand inspection balcony of Dome One, Dominic stood with his boots planted firmly against the polished basalt ledge. He had stripped off his formal imperial mantle, wearing a sleeveless dark velvet combat tunic reinforced with meteor-steel mesh. His broad, muscular chest and corded shoulders were exposed, showing off his bronzed skin and the dark meteor-steel runic tattoos that pulsed along his arms and neck with steady, low currents of liquid-black solar plasma. His short dark hair was windblown by the internal climate vents, framing a granite jawline set in an unyielding expression of apex authority. His grey eyes, glowing with deep, steady

“And the miracles?” “Staged,” I confirm. “Vittorio funds the mechanisms. The weeping statues, the glowing relics. It brings in money and power. The bishop “Augustus Hale” has spent his life perfecting the deception.” I watched him carefully now; this next part will hurt. “And you, Jordan Brick… You are part of that deception whether you want to be or not.” His head snaps toward me. “What are you talking about?”

But the water didn't flood the streets. A mile out from the docks, the ocean hit an invisible, translucent wall of violet fire. The wave didn't break; it surged upward, clawing at the sky, trying to find a gap in my dome. I felt the weight of the entire Western Sea pressing against my mind. My skin began to bleed from the pores, the sheer kinetic friction turning the air around us into a shimmering haze of heat. "Nathaniel! Status!" I gasped, my vision blurring. "The dome is holding at eighty-nine percent integrity!" Nathaniel’s voice echoed through the resonance-crystal. "But Emma, the pressure is creating a vacuum beneath the surface! Something is moving through the under-currents!"

"I didn't realize Julian invited dock workers to charity galas." Dominic’s jaw tightened, a flash of red anger passing over his greasy features before he forced a sneer. He took a heavy step toward me, invading my personal space until I could smell the harsh liquor on his breath. "Watch your tongue, girl," Dominic growled, lowering his voice into a cruel whisper. "You might be wearing Julian’s ring, but everyone in the underground knows what you really are. A little federal puppet playing house with a monster. How long do you think he’ll keep you around once he gets tired of using your body?"

Artemis stretched out her hand that held a small tube-like thing in her hand which Creed had seen several times with women. His eyes immediately landed on the beautiful woman right next to him and grabbed the lip balm from her hand to rub against his chapped lips. Right now, they both were standing on top of the tallest building in the center of the Disque Caravan, serving as the parking lot. Creed Beck his neck up and gazed at the huge semi-circular geodesic dome covering the entire structure. The structure was unexplainably gigantic. After a quick look, he assumed that the circular dome on the top of the caravan was there to cover the buildings inside; however, he realized that sea breeze

“I’m good, just a little sick. Some rest is all I need. Thank you for the wonderful lunch.” “Stay with me for a while, we aren’t done yet.” “I can’t go walking like this.” “Do you want me to drive you to the hospital?” “On second thought, I’m fine. I’ll be fine. What’s the worst that could happen?” “That’s the spirit!” “Where are we going?” “Shopping, of course!” “Great! Sounds exciting.” “It is! We will have so much fun.” A few blocks from the food district was a towering structure with pink heels flashing from the entrance. It made me dizzy just looking at it. This was previously a skating place, and now it’s a monster housing different kinds of stuff.

Sure I'd been able to make enough to pay off the rent but I could still feel the strong fingers clutching my arm like a vice.
