Pregnant and Jailed: Revenge on my Quadruplet’s Father

Pregnant and Jailed: Revenge on my Quadruplet’s Father

But I just shrug it off. “Daddy, what’s that huge tree?” Andre voice draws Carlton’s Attention from me. All eyes trails where he’s pointing at and there’s gigantic tree at a far end of the forest. Even as we are standing up on a wooden bridge it’s still so tall and has its branch sprouting out everywhere. The tree is so magnificent and would really get anyone bedazzled. The oak tree. “That’s the oak tree.” Carlton says and someone squeals beside Andre. Griffin. Then with his eyes widen in amazement he exclaims, “The royal tree of the forest!”

The Knight's Claimed Bride

The Knight's Claimed Bride

“Becca…” “I wasn’t trying to trick you,” I said quickly. “I know how it sounds. I know it was reckless and illegal and everything you’d never expect from me. But gods, Rhys—I was so tired. Of waiting.” Rhys didn’t say anything. His hand tightened at my waist, but not roughly. I swallowed the knot rising in my throat. “You remember the oak tree behind the old armory? The one the palace gardeners always complained about?” Rhys huffed a breath, a sound almost like a laugh. “You mean the one you fell out of trying to steal Queen Omara’s lemon tarts?”

I was seriously going to stop reading this book as it is a bit expensive and the story was deviating from the central plot. But today I unlocked a chapter again and I am totally happy after reading it. And I found the author cut out some irrelevant Oakphet portions and added new content. Good work👍

Last Year of Seventeen

Last Year of Seventeen

"That shit was embarrassing." We were sitting by the round table under the oak tree. A place especially designed for us. Where the shade is just the right amount for you to still feel warm but not sweaty all over. Arlo has graced us with his presence. It's off-season and he does not need to go on training for another few weeks. Dove and Raven also came around and brought food prepared by their private chef. Theo was more than happy to share with them our little deal and even more ecstatic to discuss my embarrassing ordeal.

Sold as the Alpha King's Breeder

Sold as the Alpha King's Breeder

' I asked, already knowing the answer deep in my bones. Hanna lowered her head and walked into the forest after Rowan and Troy. When we caught up to him, Duck was digging against the base of a huge oak tree, its roots snaking several yards around its base as it towered over us. Troy barked sharply at Duck, but he didn't cease his digging. He was frantic, huffing and snarling.

I love this story. I like being able to see things unfold between people who are trying to ignore the way the feel and things they want. Can't wait to read more and see how things play out between Ethan, Rosalie and Madelynn. I just hope Madelynn doesn't do something stupid again. Fingers crossed
Fox 2005
dark in the beginning, a world of old-fashioned or rather cruel traditions. focusing less on the werewolf side, but on the efforts the characters live through, to come into and crate a brighter future for their children. each book following one generation in a very catching created world. RECOMMEND.

Tempting The Billioanire

Tempting The Billioanire

She photographed my mother in the garden chair with her coffee, reading, not posing, simply there in the June morning in her garden, the way she was every June morning. She spent a long time at the oak. The June oak was fully leafed — the tree in its complete summer version, the canopy dense and specific, the light coming through it in the particular way of light through a mature tree in full leaf, complex and dappled and changing as the branches moved in the small June wind. She stood under it for a while. I watched from the kitchen doorway. My father came to stand beside me. We watched Anna stand under his tree in the June light and neither of us said anything for a while.

Ashes Under the Willow Tree

Ashes Under the Willow Tree

But every year, at the same time, one of her comrades delivered a pack of shortbread cookies. At 60, I taught my final class. Before the bell rang, I looked out toward the hillside. A flourishing willow tree stood there. My son lay beneath it. "Cyrus, Dad misses you." —The End

Fated to My Ex's Brother-In-Law

Fated to My Ex's Brother-In-Law

Not after everything we had been through. The darkness outside hit me like a punch to the gut. It meant we had been tortured for most of the day. The moon was small, barely casting any light. It was the end of another lunar month, and that didn’t make things easier. Normally, Xavier and I could move through the night like it was nothing—our night vision sharp, our bodies built for it. But tonight, we were barely keeping our eyes open. We stumbled and partially dragged each other toward the backyard. And there it was. The oak tree. The very one that had brought us here. We collapsed against its thick, ancient trunk, both of us breathing heavily.
